What job should i level? :D

Which Job Should I Start With?

Think i'm going to start with MNK or WAR and branch off from there. I'm a bit bored of mage-esque jobs.

Quite easily? It depends how good the WHM is. Normally if a regen and there's work between whm and galka paladin mp is never really an issue.
 
if your starting a new character the best job to lvl first is monk even if only to 18. you do good damage and have little down time while soloing. also it makes a good sub job for a lot of melee jobs in lower lvl range untill you get advanced jobs unlocked. to start your mage jobs whm is good as it is a good sub for nearly every mage job.

I was inviting BLMs because we would be setting up SC for bursts. Still got good exp/hr in a SC party. I would have invited you Shmed, but when I was getting 75 I don't even think you were even near my Paladin. I honestly don't remember when I met you in game lol.

QFT

MNK is a good job to start off as, even if you don't pt with it through dunes (for whatever reason). If your looking for something different I'd go something like BLU or maybe PUP or DRG.

BLU is a great job to lvl, no matter how time consuming it is to get spells. lol. But anyways, with BLU you can duo from 1-75 with a friend which I probably recommend you do through the dunes as they are very slow. From what ive seen by a friend of mine, BLU can do major DMG once you get into endgame (2000+ on gods with SATA cannon ball.... I have pics <,<)

DRG is a pretty cool job to lvl if you like soloing, or partying, even though you don't get as many invites, you can always lvl RDM WHM BLU ect up to 37, an easy task, and just solo while LFP and make some decent exp.

PUP is also a pretty cool job considering you can change your puppet to meet you standards. Want it to nuke, sure. Want it to RA? sure thing. Want it to tank? you got it!

These are just some ideas of some pretty fun jobs to lvl up, hope this helped.

I dinged 75 in January of this year. Honestly though soloing then made it more bearable now when I'm trying to get merits. Most of my LP's are from soloing and doing it for all those levels made me figure out ways to keep myself entertained. Not having to lfp to get merits at a decent rate is one great thing about blm and also when I get a few more enfeeb merits and gear I'll be trying to solo some harder things to see if I have the skills to win.

I think it was a few months ago when we met in game. Mainly I think it was the banter of the boards lol.

Same, back when i was lvling DRG i always tried to get SC pts cause thats all i really knew lmao. I remember one pt in Kuftal Tunnel on tigers, we were getting like 15k/hour which was pretty good considering it was around mid 60s and ToAU wasn't even out yet.

Now on WAR, i definately prefer cannon/free-for-all/what ever (free-for-all meaning no SC or anything just straight up attack then WS when u can.) Although if i geta SC pt I wouldn't decline ;)
 
spampage parties are great if you have a compitent rdm or brd.

Otherwise they are the worst kind of party invented

start w/ thf so you can get easy gil drops till 10(or 18 for subjob) then switch to w/e job you want next
 
Eh THF is a snooze-fest, I'm going to go with MNK & WAR to start! :D meree midget 4tw!
 
Iv seen alot of Taru PLD completely own. If your gonna do melee, try that route.

Use jerky when you fight crabs seriously monk kind of sucked on those.
 
only doing mnk18 then switching to war37 then sam or drk me thinks.
