What music do you listen to while playing FFXI?

Just a question ^_^ Do you listen to your own CD's of chill back to the soundtrack of ffxi?

My personal favs are:

Iron Maiden (so ffxi-like?)
Metallica
Anime soundtracks
Blind Guardian
System of a Down
Rammstein :twisted:
 
The doors (when it's late at night / I'm just casually chatting to the ls or browsing the auction house)
Metal - During fights (Pantera, SikTh, SlipKnot, The Black mages)
Any other time (random selections of music, rap, hip hop, rock, indie sorta stuff)

Generally I'm Alt+Tab'ing out of FFXI all the time to talk to people on msn, post on this here forum, and looking up info about quests and skillchains (other FFXI stuff I don't know off the top of my head), I might aswell change songs on itunes at the same time.
 
{Um...} I just listen to the FFXI music. I personally like it.
 
i to just listened to the music from the game. but usually whatever my GF puts on/ but not always.
 
I tend to listen to internet radio while playing so I can get a good variety. My favorite station is www.clubnetradio.com with their alternative rock and techno stations. I might listen to ffxi's music if it had any. Seriously, mages get to hear nothing unless we are engaged (which is .1% of normal exp time).
 
I have a five disc cd changer, so I just pop them in, and hit random.

I listen to Pantera, Tool, Alice N Chains, and other bands along that line.
 
I listen to the FFXI music but sometimes I put k-pop or anime soundtracks.
 
I'll need to check out some of those sites for music.. and yeah being a mage sucks no music for us.. although when I go and exp in Bibiki Bay I'll go into combat mode just to hear the pretty music.. curse Raes.. he gets it all... fightinz and music ;-;
 
This is a decent channel for those that like alternative music http://www.idobi.com/radio/ I tend to listen to it more at work. If I wasn't so afraid of FFX running right on my computer at home would play it in the background while playing.

At Home I tend to cycle through CD's right now been listening to Jason Mraz's new CD especially while my guy is playing in Dynamis. The music there is well rather boring and needs to be covered up.
 
Sometimes I'll put on the FFXI music, but I usually fire up Winamp while I play. Sometimes a mix, usually I have a specific band in mind (no 2 bands I listen to have the same style)

Music can vary from contemporary hits (billboard, oricon), classical, salsa, showtunes/muscials, oldies, 70's, 80's and early 90's, dance, trance, house, rock, alternative, On rare occassions, hip-hop, rap, regagge, country, anime, game, and even H!P. x.x;;
Language preference: None.

Although, I could always add more European songs to my list. XD
 
GNR, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, SlipKnot, all that heavy stuff ^^
