Since around December or so, I've had my eyes fixed on snagging me a...

That very same one... The same one that Kaine crafted...

Kaine told me he wanted 8,000,000 G for it. So I started saving up... Farming Spider Webs... Amemit Camping... Doing mercenary missions for low lv. people... Selling high Lv. BLM scrolls, like Water IV from Beadeaux... Opening coffers... selling old stuff... etc etc...

And finally, yesterday I had enough. But Kaine was AFK and eventually went offline.

So the next morning I get on... and I talk to Kaine:

The night before I had accumulated enough Gil... Just the night before... He had it in his Bazaar... The next day, all of a sudden, it's gone...

I know the EXACT Synthesis Formula to make a Barone Corazza too...

Smithing 100+ with Goldsmithing & Leathercraft sub:

Crystal: Earth
Materials: Buffalo Leather x1, Darksteel Sheet x1, Gold Ingot x1, Mercury x1, Molybdenum Sheet x1, Orichalcum Chain x1, Scarlet Linen Cloth x1, Water Bead x1

... For the Molybdenum Sheet... That would involve me fighting the Dragon HNMs in Attowah Chasm and Ulegeurand Range... Tiamat and Jormungand...

Which I really don't like...

I've heard the horror stories... "It has Regen with 50 HP per tick"... "It can fly around"... etc etc...

Svina wanted to know why I wanted a Barone Corazza instead of a Hauberk...

As much as I could've just up and bought a Hauberk... Hauberk's kind of common to me. I see it often... Very often... I just wanted to wear something different for a change... And Barone Corazza's kinda nice.

But this sucks... I got just enough, only to be bought out at the LAST POSSIBLE SECOND.

Interesting... I've been told that "There are only three Barone Corazzas in existance on Quetzalcoatl." ... Well, that sounds about right. On the other servers, the AH is stocked with Barone Corazzas, but ours has never seen one AH sale... We don't farm HNMs on a regular basis like the other servers.

I don't know... Have any of you ever been in a situation similar to this? Saving up to get something, only to get bought out at the last second? lol

(... I want that armor... Been after it for a while... If any of you spot another one, let me know. I'll gladly buy it.)

That sucks Devifoxx, sorry about that!

It did happen to me actually. I wanted to buy an ingredient to level alchemy bit was out of inventory space so I ran to a merchants, sold a few stuff and come back to AH... DARN IT!!! Someone bought the last stack of insect wings!!!!!

I know, bad one.....

My BF Josh was looking for a Millionairre's Desk for about 4 monthes on his server AFTER he had saved the gil to buy it...his entire LS was helping look in bazaars, AH's, etc for monthes...they were even doing periodic SHOUTS to see if any skilled craftsman could help out...

He finally gave up and spent the money on Leaping boots. The following DAY 3 desks went up in the Sandy AH. LOL Yeah.

A RL friend called him at work to let him know. By the time he got home - they were gone.
