What should i main?

I'm a big believer that anyone should play anyjob you want. But if your'e looking to be the best at what you do (which i think you are) you should also consider the race you are in your selection. I know you know all of the races and their benefits/downfall so take that into cnsideration when selecting your main. I think that Pompidou did an excellent job in explaining all of the jobs and what they can bring ito a party, so I wount explain much more. All I need to say is that you should choose a race that best fits one of the jobs that appeal to you.

Not so much. I've had some Hume and Mithra BLMs outdamage me (as Taru BLM). On the flip side, I as a Taru WAR have outdamaged some Galka and Elvaan WARs. Race plays a very small part in any job you do. If you're picking race based on job, pick which race looks the coolest in that job's AF armor

EDIT: Forgot to mention... Picking race by coolest looking leaves only 1 choice. Tarutaru look the best in everything.

Race place a huge part in job.But yeah you can always beat a lowly equipped elvaan war with a uberly taru warrior.Like tarus have 26 str less than elvaan or something.... n i think the 2 rings u wear give u 10 str..

I don't use it unless I solo (I pull with it), it takes too damn long to cast for something resisted half the time. Not to mention it's fuckin expensive now lol Also RDM or WHM paralyze is just as good and is usually not resisted.

What really irritates me is when I see those dumb tonberries use Jubaku: Ni. I WANT THAT U GREEN FUCKERS.

Oh by the way... I saw yesterday that the prices of consumables went up significantly. Shihei is more like 13k a stack, and elementals like 25k. So I think 125k for 2hrs is really optimistic now lol

How hard is it to check things before pulling random numbers like this

The difference between tarutaru (weakest) and elvaan (strongest) on STR alone is 11 points at 75 (57 to 68 base STR with no subjob for WAR job). It sure isn't negligible, but it will only account for around 10% less damage on rampage on VT...

Any race can do any job really, and it doesn't play a "huge" part at all.

The only place where I think race plays a bigger role is MP/HP. There the difference is way more than 10%. A Galka BLM base MP is about half of what a Tarutaru BLM base MP is (422 for 807 with no subjob at BLM75).
