That's what I say. :lol: But people are lazy, and I'm no exception, so it will keep on getting abbreviated. Still, BUM seems like something the people who say RGR instead of RNG would use. :?

I would think "GEM" or GEO would make sense for Geomancer. BUM is just asking for trouble for abbreviation, just like if they called Black mage BLA or Paladin PAL. People would make too many stupid puns about it and it would end up one big joke, and you know how SE only takes out the obvious stupid moves. I'm just waiting for the days when people think Assassin will become a job and figure out the abbreviation for that :roll:
