Well, if you're going to set that as the standard...Just about everything has been said before. Yeah, thread subjects get repetitive but they come and go--today it's gil sellers, tomorrow it might be RDMs who melee (again), and so on.

There's an art to flaming. When done well, it not only gets your point across, but it lets you blow off steam too.

When done poorly, you get This. Probably should be in Off-Topic with a lot less profanity. The best flames on this board are the ones that come from cool heads.

If you want to learn from the best, take a look at Keits' posts. His posts were logical, coherent, and most of all always made a point. I personally emulate his style at times, and it works well. I think at least one of the more talented Flameboard posters needs to be upgraded to mod status, in all honesty. It's 'anarchy,' sure, but there's a difference between a flame and a pointless post.

Get rid of the pointless posts (and the pointless posters) and the board will be better for it.

I'm sorry but how the fuc*in hell is flaming an art? Its a way to get rid of your anger online with other people and/or to just have some messed up demented fun. Why the hell should you even read somthing if your going to say, "Oh, this kid doesnt have the right type of topic so I'm just going to stop reading right now. The purpose of this forum isn't to have highly intelligent discussion about the effects of standing different ways while you're crafting. The point of this forum is to come and post a rant in whatever writing style you would prefer.

What I was trying to get at, though, is that, if the moderator for this section doesn't live up to your standards, will you stop complaining that the content isn't good enough (because there is a moderator), or just keep on going?
