For some reason I pot a wooden flowerpot for 800k off of the ah. Does anyone know what these things are good for yet?

I can't say I've ever spent that sort of gil on something to have to ask what it's for later. Maybe if you put it alone in your moghouse, it gives a cool enhancement. Maybe it's expensive because the ingredients are difficult, but in reality, it does nothing important. To be honest, I've never heard of it.

Well I figure it's an improvement over every other pot, maybe even the Arcane one. I garden plenty and I'm thinking that maybe with this pot you can grow different results than you could with others. Interestingly enough I suggested that they add new results from gardenning months ago in an email I sent to them. Perhaps they were listening when they added this?

I think I abused all my luck in gardening. I decided to quit while I'm ahead. I had two successful ore runs, and the odds are against a 3rd. If the wooden pot is better than the arcane, I'm sure someone will notice and post on allakazham. I hope it doesn't take longer to germinate though.

pot? bought? got?
You just received it, or did you actually spend 800k on that pot?

To make up for sounding less than cordial in the warrior thread, I looked up the Wooden Pot on Allakazham. This is the most info they had. This post is by a fellow named "Binak" - a Scholar. From reading that post, it seems you might also want to look into the "Sky Pot".

First off, you need to complete the "Inside the Belly" quest in Selbina. The type of fish you need to turn into him is called a Bhelfel Marlin. There fished up off the Ferry between Selbina and Mhaura. When you turn them in you have a chance of either a Pirate's Chart(Valkurm Dunes)or a Brigard's Chart(Buburimu Peninsula).

Once you have the Brigard's Chart in hand, head to Buburimu Peninsula(Khoonta Dunes). Make sure you bring a friend high enough to kill some fish around lvl 20. Have your friend in party with you. Trade the chart the the ??? and an old man will appear and want you to get his penquin ring for him(you can see it shining in the water). You'll get lvl capped at 20, but your friend in party wont(he gets to stay his/her lvl and still kill mobs you pull up). Now start fishing like crazy, only stop to turn around to open your Treasure chest that you pull up. You dont want to wait till its over to open the chest, they will vanish when its all over.

I usually am able to fish about 4 times before the session is over. Drops I usually get is the Wooden Flowerpot, Sky Pot, Blue Pitcher.

Other items that have obtained:

500gil
Rusty Subligar
Penquin Ring^^
Monsters><
Gold Beastcoins(I never get any, but ppl say they have)

Oh and the stats on this flowerpot:

Light Energy +1
Storage +1
Mogenhancment Fishing(Items)

The Arcane pot only seems to maximise harvest quantities. I stopped using mine for ores (maximum of one ore per pot anyway...)

I thought so too, until I saw a screenshot of a person getting two elemental ores from one. After that it was hard not to buy one, seeing as how they were only going for 60k at the time. With how much tree saplings are, it's not a bad deal at all.

One ore per pot? I heard speculation that an Arcane Pot has a chance of growing two ore. After all, there must be some benefit to the pot with its insanely long growth time. Maybe the wooden pot grants similar priveleges.
