So a friend of mine quit, and I'm in charge of the account, the thing is I"m not too sure what to do with it....
42BRD and 42WHM and level 30+ cooking.
I could scrap it, sell it, or keep it.
As for scraping it, waste of a good char...
Selling it: I dunno who would buy it....
Keep it: 13extra a month and I"m not too sure how much use I'd get out of it....so I'm lookin for some imput on what to do... ^^
 
Sell the Taru? You're off your rocker Onions.....Besides I dont wanna be a whore-cat....with no melee leveled... >_>
 
Get rid of it and delete all the equipment and money with it. No need for excess gil in the economy.

Its good in the short run but screws you over in the long run.
 
I would strip the character or create a mule to take all the equipment. You may want to play bard someday. I have equipment from a friend who quit as a 44 pld in the summer and I still have his equipment (never sold it) so when my pally reaches that level, I have a decent set of armour waiting.

What happens in our LS is when someone quits, generally, the wealth of that character is split among the members.....except for the one time a member pulled a eccentric move and gave away his signa for free...lol.
 
Do what you feel like. If you have a pc and playstation 2 then you can use it when things come up. Like you want too teleport yourself and level another job or just need it too play decoy for you too get a coffer chest so the monster attacks it and you get what you need then instant warp scroll yourself out. Also if you need a raise then you got yourself :). I don't know there are all kind of possibilites. That is if you can afford it.

This is a good point. I've heard of people who have another character strictly fishing all the time. They run their main character and they fish with the second..... This was the answer I got from a GM when I thought someone could be botting. I mean... character name "dddddddddddd" and didn't move from their spot for 14 hours? That's beside the point.

I personally don't think I could afford two characters but it would have its benefits.....you could use his character to BCNM too. :D
 
My friends room-mate quit the game, 58 or so WHM, and now my friend always has a free power level from himself on the PC next to him! ^^ Come on man, free power level when ever you need it! 8)
