yeah people tend to do better when they learn knowledge then apply it in my spanish class there was a chart that showed how much you remember/learn when you used material ie

Reading- 10%
Speaking and Reading- 20%


I can't remember the rest but it eventually led to the point where stuff you read about then act on leads to higher retention rate and learning or hands on situations(what they refer to by informal scientific method).

When you compare to the methods in school, a lot of them aren't hands on nor do you use the knowledge immediately over and over so it's difficult to improvise and use knowledge in the future.

Of course students can take the initiative to make that happen to a certain extent but you can't teach initiative to a person just what to do.

NEWS FLASH! A common use of dexterity and hand-eye coordination improves other uses of dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

It's called practice, people. It doesn't matter if it's a video game or a simulator, as long as your doing it a lot, you're generally going to be better than someone who doesn't.

What's next, a study showing runners who play DDR have higher endurance or run faster than runners who don't?

Look at guitar the same way. You repeat the same scales over and over again slowly, you eventually get better. It's muscle memory; the more you do something repetitively, the faster you can do it. Still, they've been saying video games improve hand-eye coordination for years. Just gotta get parents to listen.

He was banned from making public statements about Rockstar or Take-Two the developers of GTA. His currently in the middle of disbarment proceedings in Florida (which means he won't be able to practice law in that state although if he tries to pally in another state he will probably be turned down there too) The judge recommended permanent disbarment last I heard.

If you actually look at some of the shit he did and said in the past, If I was the judge I would be recommending he be institutionalized <_<
