That looks very cool. Too bad we probably have to waste time on the prom missions to access all of it. :?

At least it would seem the new areas wouldn't be overcrowded, even with masses of new players joining the ranks of the 75s.

if an enemy does a Ranged Attack against you when you have shadows up it will automatically consume one no matter how weak the mob is or how often he should be missing.

well what about magic? even if you can resist it, it still takes a shadow

arrows miss me in ballista while i have shadows up <,<

Ive never seen a player 100% resist a spell cast from an enemy nor evade one, thus it is logical for it to always take a shadow. However ranged attacks from Too Weak will almost always miss, but soon as you put Utsusemi up your shadows start absorbing them instead of having them miss alltogether.

UGLY, but the begining of it..its UGLY I never been much down there.

:( but like going to the Hall of the Gods..CMON! I wanna go there :(

Because they want you to EARN the new areas! :P If you could get to all the new areas right away, you wouldn't have anything to work towards, and you'd stop playing sooner, which would mean you'd stop giving them your money every month. ;)

Seriously though, I think I'm the only one who won't have access to new areas that doesn't mind it. I wanna go there, but I don't mind having to do missions for it. Hell, it's what I play the game for: missions! I'm glad they make areas that you have to do missions to get to; people like me would never be able to get help in doing said missions if all you level-grinding maniacs didn't think you'd get something out of it.

Then go to the Hall of the Gods, anyone with a chicken can go, you don't have to be a high level.

Requirements:

1. Chocobo
2. Silent Oil

Head to Zi'tah on your chocobo, go north to Ro'Maeve. Once you zone into Ro'Maeve don't move, there is a Weapon type mob that likes to spawn camp :p

Once you establish your safety, eat a silent oil and make a run for it.

Head right and down around, try to head north and then upstairs again for the zone line to the HotG.

The enemies in Ro'Maeve are only Weapons and Doll types.

The Weapons will aggro to sound, and are spread out through the zone. However there are Doll type mobs that will aggro via magic. Therefore be sure to bring silent oils to get around the weapons, since you want to avoid making the dolls aggro you by casting any type of magic.

There aren't any enemies in the HotG and its a very small zone, however it has some awesome and inspiring sights to anyone.

Especially seeing the door that leads to Tu'lia, which you can only get past when you finish ZM14 or whatever.

Don't forget to bring a way to leave, such as a warp scroll, or another silent oil to run back, don't cast magic to sneak yourself, it is very bad outside in Ro'Maeve :p
