What're your top 3 favorite jobs?

heh, had to chime in cos i see mad monk love :D

1. MNK: i'm a galka .... der if yer gonna play a certain race go with the strengths ;)

2. DRG: i woulda picked sam but it's like being a walking fan. :: whiff whiff whiff whiff PAP! whiff whiff whiff ::

3. WHM: cos i don't suck at it and am forced to get the best gear possible for the job so as not to make the leet crowd go ape on me.

1. SAM, as it's my main and i just LOVE samurai. no other job gets tp so fast (don't even start with rng can, unless a rng can get 100 tp in 5 secs. thank you meditate!)

2. WAR, my sub and until got SAM my main. i loved tanking with war ^^

3. um...uh...damn...now this is tough. i guess thf, cuz i've been lvlin it lately and it's pretty fun to not have most things hit you :D
 
I really did love Warrior myself, but, I had to put it aside for now. Until there's a time when people don't expect Warriors to sub Ninja, I will never play Warrior again. As much as I love the job, WAR/NIN was never the way I intended to play it.

So, Warrior was obviously #1, but, since I dropped it. Monk gets #1. Great Damage, great job abilities, Hundred Fists (Twice a party if you get a long one) and I have to admit that I just look damn cool. Plus, nobody ever tells me what to sub.

#2. Would have to be Black Mage. Dispite the amount of gear + skill + effort that it takes to have a worthwhile Elvaan Black Mage, I sincerely love the job. There's nothing more satisfying than when your burst finishes off a monster, or makes the rest of the party go "Whoa!"

#3. Will probably come as a surprise, since it's one of my lower level jobs, but I adore Paladin. Dispite the lack of MP as an Elvaan, I sincerely enjoy tanking. It's another one of those "looking damn cool" jobs as well, because considering I'm level 31, I'm wearing the Eisen gear, which is totally sexy.

Though I do play White Mage, I can't say it's one of my favorites, I'm considering dropping it honestly, and putting more effort into Summoner. Afterall, SMN tends to just be a WHM of half their level.
 
Rdm - gets boring in xp parties, but soloing and messin around with friends is fun.

Drk - I like to rip stuff apart

Bst - Chillin alone is good, get outdoors and just hang out. I like not having to worry about getting parties, or people with crappy gear that suck at their job.
 
Id have to say
1. rng cuz everyone likes a rng around and its some of the most consistant damage over time than any other job. Rngs can be out dam by anyother melee job, But a well equip rng will still out dam any melee anyday.

2. sam cuz I luv being able to WS 2-4 times a fight and it makes a great sub for any melee post lvl 60 I really like the idea of a rng/sam and spam sidewinder I know its dangerous but if you do it right youll kick much ass.

3. drk, sam is a great sub for drk post lvl 60 and im elvaan so im the best race for drk

2 things.

1) Sam isn't -that- great a sub anymore. Not since they nerfed multi hit WS. No more spamming Guillotine :cry:

2) Statistically speaking, Galka is the best race for Drk. But we all know(least I hope so) race isn't a big factor for any job. With the right equipment and skill any race can play any jobs :P
 
1. PLD (Highest job so far, I seem to do pretty well with it.)
2. SAM(Got this to 40, enjoyed the hell out of it since I got meditate.)
3. BST(Great for when parties aren't about, I can level @ my leisure)
 
1. Paladin. When I bought the game, I knew I was gonna be a pally.
2. Dragoon. Hey, what can I say. Cecil got me hooked on Paladins, and Kain got me hooked on Dragoons. I still think that when they do jump they should disappear into the sky for a minute...
3. Black Mage. When you absolutely, positively must kill every last mother****er in the room, except no substitutes
