So simply put what is better and when...

Wise Pigaches 72 Def: 14 INT: 4 Accuracy: 2 Ranged Accuracy: 3 Enmity: -1

or

Errant Pigaches 72 Def: 18 HP: -20 MP: 20 MND: 5 Enmity: -2

or

Warlock's Boots 52 Def: 13 MP: 11 AGI: 3 Vs. Water: 10 Shield Skill: 10

and

Errant Slops 72 Def: 38 STR: -5 DEX: -5 VIT: -5 AGI: -5 INT: 7 MND: 7 CHR: 7 Enmity: -3

or

Wise Braconi 72 Def: 32 MP: 17 Magic Accuracy: 2 Accuracy: 1 Enmity: -4

or

Warlock's Tights 56 Def: 33 MP: 13 MND: 3 Enhancing Magic Skill: 15 Healing Magic Skill: 10

Keep in mind I'm a RDM. I plan on wearing the Errant gloves as my permanent gloves, so the int there shouldnt be a problem. I also swap in int and mnd rings. My body I use the RDM AF and will swap the Errant body for nuking and resting. So all tips and suggestions are welcome. Woohoo for hitting 71 tonight!

imo

errant legs(if u have money, buy the barons HQ legs, +1 restingMP), AF body (errant body for resting/nuking), wise feet, wise hat (macro in). buy wise legs if u have money and /blm for stronger aspir/drains.. but other than that, errant > wise legs...

For Enfeebling Strength: INT/MND
For Enfeebling Accuracy: Enfeebling Skill, MagAcc
For Nuke Strength: INT, MagAtt
For Nuke Accuracy: Elemental Skill, MagAcc
For Enhancing: Enhancing Skill, MND
For Curing: +Cure Potency, +MP
For Resting: +hMP
For Converting: +MP, +HP (to balance)
For Wyrms: -Enmity
For Stunning: +FastCast, Dark Skill

And everytime you leave your Moghouse, you decide what you're likely to be doing, and gear up accordingly. Seriously, your gear setup can change every fight depending on what you're doing. We have to cast nearly every class of spell, and all use different skills. When you start counting in Zenith, Crimson, AF2, and Nashira's into the mix, things start to really get interesting...

Wise Pigaches and Errant Pigaches. I adive you switch these based on if your using a MND or INT based spell. If you can only afford one, but the one where you have less point in first.

In terms of pants, I would go errant. The +7 INT and MND is better then +2 Magic Acc I believe because, from everything I have read, INT and MND raise your Magic Acc. Also by having higher INT and MND your overall effectivness should increase. You could also macro in the AF leggings, but I am not sure if they will help more then errant, will just have to do a few observations with both equipped. Afterall skill > attributes generally.

Just what I think, though if I had the gil I would buy everything and just try it out.

Wise Pigaches and Errant Slops. Or, once you hit 75, you can go the middle route and get Rostrum...but I'd recommend just switching between Wise and Errant as needed.

I don't see the JSE Pants are really needed...because if magic applies the same way as melee, 2MND or 2INT = 1 Magic accuracy to the corrosponding spells, meaning Errant Slops would give 3.5* magic accuracy.

*If this' right, magic acc = (stat)/2, rounded down, so the pants would actually give 3 magic accuracy if the stat ends up odd, and 4 if the stat winds up even. But bleh...I think JSE pants aren't needed either way. =P

Yup yup.

Things to factor in are your level, your merits, your race, etc.
Pre 75, I had a full set of MND gear and INT gear. After merits and hitting 75, I carry what I think I need.

Yeah it really becomes a headache honestly... 60 slot gobbie bag isn't enough ; ;.

Not an option for RDMs.

Really, you're going to own bits and pieces from all the sets mentioned (if not some of the sets fully). After a while you just get used to the fact that RDM is a gear intensive job and that you're going to have a ton of the stuff to improve your performance for whatever task or setup you're working with.

Amen.

Court has it mostly summed up, but:

at the start of fights: +mp (when you start refreshing/hasting, I use AF hat, rse body and legs, an ether ring, and errant feet, note I don't have any zenith)
curing: add enmity- after MP
resting: add MP after hMP
stunning: never really noticed a difference with more dark skill, I've been resisted on all wyrms like once. +fastcast and -enmity.

or maybe I'm just picky. :p

Oh yeah, and switch to windurst if you aren't already and get a pair of master caster's bracelets (rank 8 CP item). :D

Oh crap, I forgot. >_<
I personally think RDM should try to stock up more on MND, nonetheless...I see RDMs landing more enfeebles as more important than trying to get a stronger nuke thrown out.

Well.... if landing the enfeebles is the priority then Enfeebling Skill / Elemental Staff / MagAcc are all greater than MND, and MND is only a priority on Paralyse, Slow and Dia (Blind, Gravity, Bio, Poison are all INT based)
