whats going on with my updates...

I'm reinstalling ff xi on my computer, and im at the updating ff xi part, and i got to the very end, like literally 1 file left. but now its says "skipping file..." and going through a bunch of .DAT files and such, but its not getting that last file... and the timer says 0:02 left, and its staying there...

anyone have any idea?

ok now its stopped at "Skipped .60.DAT" and still has 1 file left to download...

all right well problem fixed, i just restarted POL and it downloaded that 1 file fine - -... freakin POL is weird sometimes. looks like i was panicking for nothing

It did that to me monday too when I re-installed

However it got to the end after skipping all kind of stuff, and now the game is working just fine

It did that skipping thing to me twice now. One time I interrupted it by restarting pol. That corrupted my install. I reinstalled and it did it again. The second time I let it go and it finally timed out. Corrupted also. You're danged if you do, danged if you don't. Third install it skipped through all of them ok eventually. Just love gambling whether I wasted 6 hours installing at the end of the update. :?
