What's the Dumbest Thing YOU'VE ever done?

Got a tele from someone and didnt have the right stone :(.

She was japanese so it made it even worse, i felt like shit. We were like /p ?, /p ?

Okay...

I am a whm and thusly have my macros set up as /ma "Cure" <p1-5> so I can just hit the applicable key to heal party members 1 through 5, while at the same time having the mob targeted so I can see how close it is to dying. So, there I am in the middle of an IT battle happily curing away when a party member disconnects, meaning that the tank, who had been party member 5 was now party member 4.... I cured "p5" 3 or 4 times before I realized I was curing... tada! the mob! which my macro defaulted to because I had it targeted.

Oopsy! No one said anything, so maybe they didn't notice, maybe... but I learned my lesson, really I did. :oops:
 
haha now that i think back its really funny.. but the dumbest thing iv'e ever done ingame happend to my war in valkrum dunes... i was at the konchat line and had my HP set.. well the PT i was in got agrod by a gob.. being teh tank i died first.. so i HP'd it and ran at it again... died, and HP'd it ran after it again.. overall after i deleveled almost three times i finally sucked up my pride and let the gob run off.. the last 4 or 5 times i went after it i had delevel'd twice and couldn't wear my armor anymore.. needless to say.. it is the dumbest thing i've ever done

mine just sits on my monitor with his paw dangling and sometimes it gets in the way of the screen........
i would never imagine that the keyboard would be a comfy place to sit for a cat......
 
okay when I was like a level 18 RDM Me and all my LS members decided to take boat ride. Well, it was the beginning of the game so no one warned us about pirates so when they docked we all got scarred and stayed under. Unfortunatly, I had music on in the background and couldn't tell when or not the pirates left, so when I asked "Are they gone yet?" I took everyone's silence as a "yes." So I walked up stairs and got agroed by like 4 skeletons.
Oh it gets worse, thinking that the door would keep them at bay, I run to the bottom of the ship and think I'm safe. Well as you know, doors don't keep any mob at bay and they followed me. So I died... but I took down 7 or 8 other PCs too. haha.

worst thing for me: going AFK while in fight and being the only healer >_<
PT didnt die and somehow they didnt notice i was AFK, thye just thought i sucked =(
 
I finally got my THF up to L18 and got the sub quest done. So I went back to Windurst, dropped my THF equipment, Leaping Boots (bought from the Sandy AH at 100,382 Gil) and all, into the Mog Safe, and switched for WAR.

At L7, I decide to switch to Leather gear, but take my Leaping Boots out of my Mog Safe. I go to the armor shop, buy all the leather, equip it, sell the cheap bronze stuff...

...When I realized I should have equipped the Leaping Boots instead of the Leather ones. I ended selling my Leaping Boots to a NPC for the grand prize of 192 Gil... :oops: I felt like a bomb dropped on me. Days of farming gone down the well.

Eventually, I got a new pair back, but it's still coming up on my LS from time to time, as that happened within days of me joining them.
