There's also the filipino version of moonshine that I have tried, made from distilling coconuts. It's rediculously smooth, but one shot can pretty much make u uber happy. Also makes a great sleep aid. Looks like the next time I see u Rune or Kicker I am gonna have to pour some tasty spirits. Glug, glug, glug, glug, glug, glug, glug, glug.

yes you will...that stuff sounds like something right up my alley

Oh btw, for reference on the name of that coconut drink. I think it's called Lambonog. I hope that's spelled right. I can speak tagalog, but don't ask me to write it. Hehe. Oh and that goes for Japanese too, I can speak a little but the kanji I always struggle with.

1. Neuzeller Klosterbraeu
2. Widmer Widberry
3. Alaskan Amber

P.S.: Why bother with anything "light"?

Beer is NASTY. Yuck yuck yuuck...

Don't get me wrong I like shots and mixed drinks and stuff of that sort... but beer? Gross.

I'm a personal fan of Kaluha, I just love the stuff. I also enjoy vodka, it was my first taste of something other than beer, and I've loved it ever since, Greygoose Vodka is good stuff. I also enjoy some Captain Morgan Coconut Rum, but I haven't had it in awhile.

Hennessey is something I will never try again though, its a funny story, I was playing a drinking game with my friends in my college dorm, and I got really wasted underestimating one of my friends, he was chugging Hennessey down like nothing, I just couldn't keep up. So I'm staggering back to my room when I look across the hall and I see my friends room door open. I walk in and he's playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the PS2, Now, this kid always used to beat me in this game, I never had a victory over him in over 30 matches. All of a sudden, my drunken ass is handing him loss after loss. I start picking characters that I've never used before such as Cammy and I still beat him. He gets kinda pissed because I'm laughing so hard and making such a racket, so I decide to leave. I go back to my room, and am about to crash on my bed, when another friend tells me that someone I know is getting into a fight with someone in their room. So we run quickly to this kids room, and he's in a huge arguement with his room mate over some shit, we try to break it up, when campus security shows up. Now I'm still drunk and underage, and these guys are considered cops, they question all of us to see what the situation was. The cop gives me a funny look, like he can tell I'm kinda messed up, but he lets me go as long as I go straight back to my room. Finally, back in my room, I decide to put on super mario allstars for the SNES, and get all the way up to level 7 with the piranahs till I start dying, I get fed up, turn the game off, and finally crash for the night. When I wake up the next morning I realize I've beaten a kid who I've never beaten in over 2 months, actually went through 6 levels of SMB3 without dying once, all while wasted, alcohol improved my skills, I should get drunk and play FFXI and see what it does.

I have a similar stories where alcohol helped my video game skills.

Story number one (all you fighting game fanatics should try this):
Me and my best friend do this once and a while, we fire up a streetfighter game or a soul calibur II and for every match, not rounds (that would be evil), the loser takes a swig of beer, or a shot. Suffice it to say, we always run outta alcohol, or can't play anymore.

Story number two:
Got done partying at a Frat and went back to my dorm. As I was heading back, I heard Mike Tyson's Punch Out on NES playing. And this is where things get hazy for me. I remember playing the game and going back to bed. The next day, my friend told me that I beat the game through sheer memory and timing, cuz he said my eyes were nearly shut and I was mumbling. And he said the most hilarously thing was that I asked him to tell me when Tyson blinked so that I could dodge his attack. And so I asked him how many tries did it take to beat tyson. He told me this instead, I beat the game, with one try. I am like holy shit. I tried it again, after playing, I couldn't beat Tyson anymore. /cry

got messed up... went to a party last night (two kegger) had some Jack before I went. Got to the party filled my cup, drank, filled, drank, filled, drank, filled, drank....KEG STAND! filled, didn't drink...did opposite of drink...then I felt better :D

Tequilah is the ONLY liquor which doesn't make me gag. The best part of being a fan of Tequilah is... I never have to share. :D

edit: Except, I have noted, with certain cute girls who like Tequilah - and that's another plus!

back when i drank ( i was an alcoholic for 5 yrs, real bad ) i drank rolling rock. it went down so smooth and never filled me up. being in milwaukee,
everyone here religously drinks miller products. while some of thier products
are not too bad, high life tastes like horse piss strained through a dirty sweatsock. and now i avoid all family functions (myself and my husbands)
because they constantly try to cram high life down my throat KNOWING i
no longer drink and had a huge problem with it.

bottom line, if u love beer come visit milwaukee. it truly is the nations
beer, festival and alcoholic capital. there is a festival every weekend somewhere in town from early spring well into fall, where everyone walks around in a circle, drinking beer, and listening to really awfull cover bands.

god i miss rolling rock :)

Guiness is my Favorite, but fills me up rather quickly. Me being very Lightweight and all. I currently almost exclusively drink Killians Irish Red.

I like Guiness a lot, but my friends hate it or just can't take the flavor after awhile. I dunno, the taste doesn't bother me over time like it does to them. Anyway, going with some buddies to a bar this Saturday, trying to think of something new to drink...

I like Red Stripe, when I can find it...
Wow, Red Stripe brings back memories...
I personally think most beer tastes like malted acid, but I've had a few imported from Europe that were really good.
