Surpisingly enough, I use Hymnus fairly often while dicking around with my RDM buddy and soloing. Used it not too long ago in a cannon exp party when my lullaby suddenly decided to stop working and I didnt want to eat an R1.

Last time I used raise as Paladin was also the first (Im still level 52) and it has been quite funny.
I already had the spell from WHM so when I turned 50 it was immediately available. I was exping at crawler nest and I was 300 exp from 50. An Elvaan female (not from our pt) dies right at the feet of our RDM chased by a mob. The problem is that our RDM had afk without saying for the last half hour (lame!), so she just stayed there hoping from some help. I turned 50, thus recovering all mps, turned and raised her. It was quite stilish as first raise ...

Btw our RDM was still afk when we finally disbanded the party :nono:
