Where is the best place to hunt

I am starting the long Tedious task of hunting to raise gil. I'm 18 thf/rng
where would the best place for me to hunt and what items should I get. Currently I'm doing Stacks of 12 Silk Thread and stacks of Cotton from the Mandys and Wax from the Giant bees anyone know anything better I can do to get $$ a little quicker thanks..

unless you can HQ the bee's wax only sell the chips, cause you'll make more profit. lvl lower jobs, like start lvling nin for you thf sub its better after the update :wink: sell the crystals you get while doing that.

lvl cloth craft with those drops. if you take what you farm you can carry it easier and make a lil more profit from it. dont do the ones that HQ give you a higher amount those usually give you less. but chocobo fletching sell good in sandy and are cheap the make and sell for about 1k a stack.

just check some things out, there is no way to make money fast in this game, espcially for lower lvls

I know how to make $$ and I know I can't expect to make $800,000,000 in one day what I was asking was are some peoples favorite hunting spots....What are hot items that have decent drop rate etc....I was hunting down in Zerhuhn mines and killing bats for wings and also Zerhun soot but the problem I'd run into there was if there was one or 2 more people there we'd kill the mobs and then I'd be running around for a while until something pops.

Killing bats for wings worked out pretty well when I first started this game...Mainly farmed in King Ranperre's Tomb, wings were fairly common and a stack would go for 2-4k (12wings)......After you get to lv20, start killing the Spook (pops in King Ranperres around 18:00-05:00) - it drops a Travellers mantle worth 30-60k.

After that, well you're on your own.

Every hunter has their own hot spots and special farming areas. They don't give away their secrets that they worked so hard to attain. Hopefully when you start gathering this info on your own, you'll understand not to ask what items are best to hunt. It sounds cold to say now, but that's how it is.

When you find your hot spot to farm items, the last thing you'll want to do is give it away on a Public Forum. I can garauntee that.

No offense, but do you seriously think that people are going to give up any gil making secrets they might have?

Give em a break. While hunting the Spook some guy told me to hunt Argus - because I was online so often.

A few weeks later Scwall and I had a pcc in our possession. So no, some farming items in this game are not secrets. As I listed one that would help him learn to start with.

Lighten up plz, there are not many secrets about low lvl farming.
