Where would you hide something from yourself?

Serious question!

I tend to sleepwalk. Most of the time I spend my time trying to find things, like the supposed hedgehog under my bed. This time, though, I hid my buss ticket. The only thing I remember was that I placed it somewhere where it would supposedly be easy to find. I also remember that I didn't intend to hide it, I intended to place it somewhere where it would be easy to find in the morning, and that that supposed place is more obvious than my wallet where it were previously situated.

Halp please? I need my buss ticket to get to work tomorrow!

My cousin found it inside the mixer. Kind of strange, I never even use the mixer, and it's stowed away. He only found it 'cause he was gonna use it to mix his protein powder thingy with fruit...

I know I never answered, but the obvious answer would be, the last place you'd ever think to look for whatever the object is. And in your case proved to be correct. I know I wouldn't have thought of some boxed up kitchen appliance.

I always hide stuff in my sock drawer. If I want to hide stuff in addition to that, I just go for those out of the way places in my room. If it's small and temporary, I may go for inside my pillowcase.
