I am deeply saddened by the lack of topic about this game! I loved PSO, and this game is looking super promising. I've already got a few IRL friends who are going to be playing this game also.

It is a kinda rip that is the character creation for the game. Unfortunately the CAST design isn't set in yet, but everything else is. Check it out and let's talk about PSU :D.
 
I'll more than likely be playing this.

Just haven't been talking about it because so little is known.
 
You should check out the official site then Aly, there's a lot up there. 4 planets to explore, 4 races, up to 6 people parties, and multiple universes (aka planets). Check it out :o
 
Just checked it out actually, releases on October 25th. On an unrelated note Tales of the Abyss comes out on the 11th...damn you people releasing all the games I want in a 2 month period or so D:
 
My best friend talks about PSU like I talk about FFXI. Actually, FFXII and .hack//G.U. all come out within a relatively short span of time...making the next several months be taken up by FFXI, FFXII, and .hack. Hellz yeah.
 
I've played quite a bit of it (well, I personally didn't play much but I watched my friend play it for hours) and it's pretty damn sweet. If you liked PSO you won't be disappointed. I didn't want to play when he brought it over cause I didn't want to have to stop playing when he left, haha. :P
 
I heard the original was hacked to hell and just waiting to hear how this one stands up to duping and whatnot before I get too excited.
 
I played PSO and got to like level 96 with my hunter Kuzoukuu. Had a lot of fun, but it just got boring doing the same thing over and over again. Plus, the game was ruined by people cheating with their dupes and shit.
 
I've been dying to play this game but I have to go away for a few months shortly before it comes out. I guess I'll just wait. :(

EDIT:Is this Same Phantasy Star that they had on Sega Gensis? With Alys and Chaz and Hahn, Rune, man that was a kick ass game.
 
PSU, man Pso.... I quit after I found out people can hack on there. Probably going to be the same with PSU lol so I'm passing. As Skaw mentioned FFV and FFIII on DS come out, so fuk this game XD.
 
I can't wait for this game, since I'm kinda getting bored with FFXI. I preordered it a while ago :biggrin:

The only reason PSO was so badly hacked was because everything was saved onto your memory card. Now it's all saved server-side, so duping and hacked weaps are virtually impossible now.

Eh, Imma give it a chance then lol. One thing I liked about PSO was making my character lmao.
 
I'm looking forward to PSU. I've been needing to break away from FFXI. I am not sure if I will go all PSU, and leave or stop playing FFXI for sometime.. That will depend on how much fun PSU is.

I am glad to see server side saves. ^^ I lived though the horrors of Dreamcast PSO and everyone getting killed, losing weapons, black screen of deaths, and the infamous "NOL." Where people could turn your character into a level 5 Hunter named NOL. >.< Then there was GameCube, where it was good till everyone learned how to dupe. Just imagine FFXI with those problems.. Everyone would have PPC, Haubys, and more..
