Which to Choose?

Well since there is no crafting forum from what I can see (don't think there would be much demand for one anyways) I will post a small problem here...

Right now I have Woodworking at Lv86 but Im seriously debating switching to another craft when I hit Lv100 fishing and don't need to fix my LuShang anymore.

Now its easy to see that Woodworking won't make me the kind of money I wanna make on a craft, the HQ's I can make (Lumber and some Weapons... max profit 50k on one HQ item) are not worth big money like some other crafts (1mil+ on some HQ's) and I can't even make elemental staves cause no one sells Elemental Beads.

What craft do you think I should choose.

Bonecraft (currently Lv60)
Clothcraft (Lv0)
Leathercraft (Lv0)
Goldsmithing (Lv0)
 
yeah, but is a %(&*_(^%(^ to lvl. I'm doing clothcrafting for the moment. But haveing trouble finding somthing to synth at lvl 13 that WONT put me down 1k per synth.
 
decidence im still real pissed about the lack of bead sales on our server. So far as i can tell those staves are purely owned by cohort JPN gold and woodsmiths.
no matter now though. once i was able to make them anyway the non HQ's fell to less than 1/4 of what the bead would cost.
still, id like to sign myself a fuggin firestaff for giggles.

Marajade, make linen thread, it can take u to lvl 19, then u can make lenen cloth from threads which will take u to lvl 22. Also if u have question about skilling up clothcraft, u're welcome to /tell me in game.

The whole elemental stave/bead thing bums me out too. I leveled woodworking as my chosen craft. Looking through the list, there is one "lottery" craft and that is the HQ elemental staves. Granted there are other means to make money, but that is the cherry. I too was dissappointed to find out that the beads arent sold. So there are really only 3 ways to make the HQ staves. Either A) make a partnership with a goldsmither, B) get Goldsmithing to 75 on your mule and make your own, or C) get ww to 85 and gs to 75 (which would severly hamper your chances of HQ's)



Any future GS's out there want to start a partnership????
 
Jonason is a GS in-game also a friend of mine.

I'm not sure his current level but I know he has dumped tons of gil into the trade.

Just tell em in-game and ask.

/tell em' Mo.. sent ya and see what he can do for you.

Some other people here may know him also he is a salty dog so you never know.

Yup, I was wrong. The beads cap out at 87 XD.

Jonason eh? Level 63/4 Thf? He and his brother are in my linkshell. Didn't realize how high he had gotten. I'll have to ask him about this next time I se him.
 
I'm doing leathercrafting

despite the cost of dark crystals its still a profit since Sheep leather is 900-1k singular

dont forget the windy tea leveas and distilled water... so cheap its a disgrace

Fishing, Culinary and Gardening are a nice trio of cooperative skills. Fishing is nice steady money. Culinary is also decent money, and saves you money on food you'd have to buy anyway. Saving money is as good as earning money, I think. Gardening is good income as well, if you farm your own tree cuttings from gobbues.
 
well.... if you ever do find someone that makes beads.. i might bea ble to get my hands on a few ores ^^


and ah... i could use a few elemental staffs (HQ isnt bad ^^) need 3 right now.... but need 6 HQs.... ^^ hoo mjuu is gettin really old..... i need something new...
 
thx Drew, I've been around QCDN for a long long while but I was just observing, and just revealed myself with that post :P btw excuse me for spelling "lenin" in stead of "linen" cuz it's way too late of a bed time for me, u know how it feels :P
