White/Blue Mage calculator

According to this calculator, when I adjust my VIT, my Cure potency changes also. VIT affects Cures???

Doesn't seem to have a means of factoring in Blue Magic skill and Healing Magic skill for the BLU curative spells, so I imagine it's a bit off there.

vit is a modifier yes just not as major as skill and mnd

Cure V
(Healing magic skill / 3) + ((VIT/2)+1) + ((13/9)*MND) + 404 + (MND-119).

Cure potency go into effect after also the mnd-119 only comes into play if mnd-119= >0

1250 for me. 855 base without medicine, which I think is pretty much spot-on, since I only go from memory.

think cmdrfly posted something a few times that vit had a small factor with cure V so it could be true.

i've heard vit has a small part as well with blue healing spells but with wild carrot mostly

All curing spells/abilities do. Curing Waltz have VIT, too, albeit target's VIT.

Pretty interesting. At first glance, it seems to be perfectly correct about my WHM cures. I wanna try it out with BLU later, though.

Try BLU/SCH with light arts up. The B skill in healing magic gives it a very nice boost (think I hit 500hp in besieged).

Hmmm, it seems Blue Magic skill isn't taken into account for BLU healing spells, I just cured someone for 387 with my Apollo's Staff, then went to this and entered in my MND and VIT. It only gives the right cure amount when I leave the skill box at 0.

I honestly have never heard anything on it, one way or the other, but since healing magic does effect it, I can see it not being effected by blu skill.

It matches my cures. This is handy! :P
