I never said I was going to be the best in the game. Will I strive to be the best in what I do? Yes I will, because it will help me and everyone who I play with out. Being the best isn't just about yourself, and there are many different types on "bests" in this game.

Hmmm...I never thought that by playing a game I owe people something. Thanks Aer, you taught me something today. My personal enjoyment doesn't matter. All that matters is the race to 75 and doing it as fast as possible. Fag.

By playing a game that requires you to interact and party with other people in order to get exp and progress through the game, you DO owe those 5 people. You owe them to not waste their time by playing the game right. Getting enjoyment from the expense of others' isn't right, and if you don't like playing how everyone expects you to play then play another game. You don't like doing what is expected of you when you play the job, play a different job or quit. You can have fun doing anything, but forcing 5 random other people to have to have to live with your "rebellion against the game" makes you a selfish prick. If you want to try tanking so bad, then get an all-LS party of get your friends to help out, but do not force a random pick-up party to have to bow down to your tanking whim.

I leveled nin to 37, and I hate tanking. I didn't want to tank at all if I could, but I knew it was expected of me. For half of my parties, it turned out that I didn't have to tank, or at least not full-time. I still had fun in the parties, even when I was the sole tank, even when I was doing something that I don't like doing. With the exception of one rdm who was an idiot, leveling ninja to 37 was an enjoyable experience, I might even level nin further at some point.

Those who are not involved (i.e. children) should just be left out of the whole thing. Whether or not BBT brought it up, just leave that alone.

Its not like there isn't tons of other stuff that has happened to flame him about. Be clever and use some of that instead of the low blows.
