I more or less meant by post as a blanket statement. Not trying to say you weren't grateful or anything but you really should have said thank you before you started running to the zone. It only takes two seconds to type /s {Thank You}, especially when you just type th and hit tab with auto translator. There really isn't any reason why thank you's can't be prompt right after the act of help, or even during the act itself.
 
So does anyone know if this is a dude or not? I'm curious now, lol. Several people seem convinced they are right on both sides of the fence. Maybe Ahkvan's a shemale. :o

lmao. I was in a social shell with Ahkvan for quite a while. Trust me, he's a dude.(see Zaltana's post, he was in same social with us). Don't get me wrong, Ahkvan's a cool dude and I've never had issues with him. I just like to point out when ppl swear someone is "insert gender here" and they are really the opposite. Lots of dude's pretend to be females ingame Chrono. lol.

Again to state for clarity, I think Ahkvan's a cool cat, and I have nothing agianst him and couldn't care less about the flame. This flame is a joke.

This is what this thread is over? Helius, you are a dumb shit. I'll go ahead and say it. I've been called much worse by people in the same situations. I'd expect a "Thank You" too. I don't even know why his gender comes into play. Girls are bitches. Guys are assholes. COPE. I don't know if you missed the "T for Teen" on the side of your FFXI box, but you can start playing a couple of years when you get out of gradeschool.

I know a lot of guys pretend to be girls or vice versa, and maybe they're a homosexual that likes you since you tell them you're a guy, and the only way they think they can be accepted more is to tell you that they're really a girl. Either way I'd be friends with them if they're a guy or girl, but lying to someone you talk to someone all the time isn't a nice thing to do, but everyone lies in a MMORPG anyways to hide who they really are, and perhaps Ahky was just getting into character considering the char is a female when talking about their gender ingame.

Aside from the whole matter of genders, even a simple "ty" if you are too lazy to type "th<tab>" or a /bow never hurt anyone, or a /tell back to them once you've zoned and are safe. Although we've heard from ahkvan's side too, there should be nothing more to discuss?

It doesn't change the fact that Myrrh has bitch fits quite a lot.

Protip: There are plenty of shitty level 75 [insert whatever job here]s. A few more points of EXP isn't going to magically make you know much more about a job, especially in this game where nothing is actually hard unless you're borderline retarded. If you don't have the concept down by level 50 you're probably not going to understand it at 75 either.
