Who leaves during a fight?

WTF! My god! Are there really that many friggen idiots on our server?! We are in the nest fighting just fine, and then this moron PLD Starplayer goes AFK DURING THE F-IN BATTLE and doesnt tell anyone. Ok well maybe hes having connection trouble or something. Lets keep fighting. We go 2 fights without him and our whm dies for the 2nd time (once from a train at the nests entrance). The WHM had already explained that he would leave if he died again, because he was really pissed at the first death to the noob train. Well he dies from a horn fly because the NIN was voking all it could but couldnt keep hate. Theres Star, sittin there, healing, AFK, not doing anything, when he could have voked the fly off of the WHM. A few minutes later he wakes up, then warps out using the scroll or stick again without telling anyone. Yeah thats really cool. /blisted
 
O no doubt in that, but i wasnt the party leader. It WAS the whitemage that left. And being a thief and how unbelievably hard it is to get a party, i tried it out anyways.
 
This is a perfect example of some people not having enough balls to kick people from parties. If someone went AFK for more than 5mins, without telling me, I would kick them.

Any Ninja that lowers himself to party with a PLD let alone any tank job post 37-40 is a disgrace to the job.

The only time I would see a WAR useful partying with a NIN is post 60, with thf SJ for hate control. Other than that... pffft.
 
I hate people like that. One party in the tree, our tank fake disconnected every time he thought he had even the slightest possibility of dieing. All mages had full mp yet he still did which led us to many deaths. The first two times I thought it was real disconnect but the third I watched my buddy list and the time he "d/c". He logged out thinking he wouldn't get caught. I invited another tank and then upon relogging in and me telling him that we have another tank, he proceeded to cuss me out saying that I'm a b*tch and that I should never lead a party because I kick only the people I hate. I don't see how he thought I hated him. Was his fault. If I did hate him, why would he be on my friends list? I got blisted for it. Oh well. ^^;

Another time was our BLM leaving the party all the time so he didn't get hit by Gobbie's bombs then blamed me for him not getting the exp of that fight. Once I seen another BLM seeking, I grabbed him and kicked the other. -.-;
 
I've tried my nin in a static with a pld (was lv29-30 static at the time), and from my experience I could say it's a waste of a slot... may as well throw two pld in, the ultimate effectiveness is similar. I didn't try as nin/blm, so I have no personal experience as to the feasibility of that... though I have read that it's a pretty competitive DD job combo when used properly.

War/thf will provide the hate control, but on top of that war & nin can SC pretty well together, being able to duo almost every level-2 chain starting as early as level 49 (maybe earlier, didn't check previous levels). Not quite as solid as nin paired with some other jobs, but if war is the only job seeking in your time of need, the option is still viable.

Plus at 65 (66?), Blade: Ten » Full Break = Darkness.

I don't care if he disses PLD, he's openly admitted to me that I'm a great tank and that's all I care about.

I remember this guy from when I had just started PLD, when I sucked ;;.
