One of my friends wanted to make new characters on XI with me... I've been thinking of returning to XI. I quit in Abyssea for obvious reasons. I'd love to find some old folk to party up with and have some fun. Seems like the last post was made in 2015 on this forum though. Also I have tried 14 but it just doesn't hold a candle to XI for me.
 
I stand around and do nothing in Jeuno and get login points/do random shit now and then if that counts :P but not so much. Not sure what to do all alone these days in the game.
 
I just subbed this week actually. I don’t have delite anymore so I had to start over. Looking to play with some people.
 
Thinking about resubbing tbh.
 
I did wind up resubbing a few months ago. But... I transferred to asura with a few friends. :X (Asura is massively populated, its like quetz pre-abyssea levels of populated.)

However... that being said. FFXI still holds up wonderfully well. I've been enjoying my time more with XI than I have with the other mainstream MMOs of today. SWTOR, BDO, FFXIV, WoW, GW2, etc... couldn't hold my attention as well as XI is managing to.

If youre on the fence still about resubbing, just do it. What's 12 bucks anyways? If you hate it, cancel and never look back. But at least give it a chance again.

I pop back in about once a year for a month to run around old areas, listen to music, and slowly hack away at the content
 
I play very sporadically when I feel like resubbing for a month. Just to see if others are still doing that.

I really miss this relic sometimes but I know it wouldn't be the same.

the origination on this thread is so old, but im going to keep it going. i just got back into it a biit a week ago. the memories keep popping up whenever i go somewhere, but at the same time, its sad. i happen to have a couple linkshells from 10 years ago, and its sad to go into them, just to see them vacant, with the last LS message being like 7 years old. the game has changed so much. its so easy now.
