Who the hell shoots domestic dogs

Apparently my neighbor across the street does, but only if they appear to be "threatening to attack"

So yeah, as implied, my dog was shot by a semi-old guy (about 60) across the street from my house. I already knew the guy was a total jerk, but I'm going to press charges for animal cruelty about this one.

And in case you're wondering if the dog really did seem threatening to him in any way, heres a picture of my dog.

(FYI, he lived, he's just going to have some temporary paralysis in his back legs for a little while, but he's ok)

Wow Tymon, I really feel for ya, that sucks balls, especially since it was totally uncalled for. If some guy shot my dog for no reason, I would beat the shit out of them, and I'm not just saying that, I would pull my dog out of a burning building before most people. Of course if the guy is old I wouldn't wanna kill him, but if it were a decade or two younger I would march over there and beat him against a wall, screw pressing charges. But I'm glad you dog didn't die, and in your case taking legal actions was the right thing to do, I just hope he has to pay you a bunch of money and goes bankrupt and has to live on the street and catches a disease and dies in a gutter.

i have a dog named bootsy collins my 88 lb lap dog. i feel the same ,old or not i hundred fist that fucker i probably would go to jail for my pooch. tymon i feel for you poor pup hope he fully recovers

Are you serious? Well whenever you get a hold of animal control, make sure to have the vet records and pictures. Hope everything works out for you.

Some people do have a fear of the little dogs. I used to until my brother got his first Pomeranian (he now has three of them). Little dogs tend to bark a lot when a new person comes along. They want to make the owner aware and also probably only want to sniff the other person before shutting up.

Called animal control today, they came by and interviewed the guy and stuff, and said theres a good chance they can get him in court and probably get him to pay for all of the vet bills. maybe even some community service too.

the only thing my dog could overpower is my other dog, and he's a 120lb golden lab. he gets owned by him.
