Wait so who is Vang again? some NA high lvl who camps Argus as far as I can tell...(not just from his sig, but because he's there anytime I go through shakrami to the apparatus). I cant figure out how being gil-rich is a marker of how good someone is at this game. And i've never seen Vang do anything but camp. Kurei, whom someone mentioned, I never even knew was super-rich, but he soloed my whm AF body mob for me. Which I guess makes him both rich and helpful..

hehe Kurei has a bad rep though.. atleast... many tell me he's screwed NA players outta gil by not giving them their cut from something... but from my experience with him.. he's given everyone a fair share from things.

Kurei is Japanese and because of that many of us cannot really have much interaction with him. So I cannot say whether he is a good or bad person. From your story I would consider him a good person but from my own experience I have never met the person.
However, in my personal experience Vang is just an ass. I know I will get flamed but I don't really care. Everytime I walk into Maze of Shakrami and camp Argus, Vang shits his pants and whines like there is no tomorrow. Apparently the only reason any would ever camp in there is because Vang is there. Forget the NM that drops a Peacock Charm that is quite literally the best peice of equipment in the game. Forget the fact its worth 20 million. No I came there because Vang was there. Because lets face facts, if Vang is there its so pleasant with his constant shit talk and bitching. "Oh you counter camped me". "You did /sea all vang"
Get a clue. No one wants to be near a whiny prick all day camping a notorious monster for hours that may or may not spawn. And no, your gear is not a proof of your worth in this game. Wow congratulations you got gil and have good gear but as far as that goes you have yet to prove to a majority of this server of anything other than that.
To the insult to the original poster: I have no idea what actually happened but what I guess is Vang was mad that you would sell your cloths, which actually make a profit, for less gil to undercut others. Well Vang I am not sure if you noticed but its well within their right to do so. Crafting items like this are normally losses to begin something you should know very well as a high level crafter. All profits are normally made through HQ and not through the standard skill leveling recipes. If someone lessens your profit thats too bad but since you seem to be so rich and have high level craft why not make something worthwhile. And I seem to notice this alot but you stalk people through tells just to insult them? You actively start fights in a game? You seriously have some anger management issues.
And to the forum community: Why do you always insist upon further aggitating everything? I read 4 pages of stupid comments that barely had anything to do with the original post just so you guys could see Vang come up with some "spectacular" insults. I am all for reading the forums and enjoying the flameboard but it seems to me as if everyone has some predetermined outcome regardless of the situation.
On a side note since I hate Vang so much: Vang when boasting about your skill make sure its your skill and not others that you are talking about. I was leveling up my ninja in Yhoator Jungle and I had the "fortunate" coincidence to be the same zone as Vang. Yes, he complained about everything. Not that I disagreed with getting angry over people constantly zoning, but after all, many of these players are new and being where I was this is completely normal. So shouting pissing people off is no way to get friends. Now, out of the blue, Vang boasts about his awesome party and how they can kill anything. Well I am quite confused to this comment since if he can kill anything and someone zones a gob, why then does he bitch so much about it? I mean can't you kill it with your awesome party? I guess but maybe it was above your party to get experience off a gob? Who knows.
So as the night further progresses and Vang continues his endless rants (he never knows when to stfu) I had run in with a gob while my party was killing another. I had no choice but to zone it. I run passed Vang and his awesome party and his protection. Oh yes he needed protection and a powerlevel. I am sorry but in all my time playing I do not boast about my skill to every random person (shout) and I do not boast about my skills and prowess when I have a powerlevel and protection in case of links. Why is that? Oh maybe because there is no skill involved? Any idiot can kill any mob given they are being powerleveled and that doesn't make them skilled at all. A second player, Landstar, bought two stacks for 90k when he could have bought it for 80. I know, because I had 2 stacks up for 80, and I got undercut by a player named Ano. Chump, the market price was always 80. One user paid 90 for 90. Sasami set that Versacce up hard and made him pay for taking out all the silk in one night. But that night is over, and Versacce is gone. I will not let one person determine the market price of silk. If the second person wants to pay 90 when I've already reset the price to its original value and been undercut in doing that, so be it.
