But, for example, in Shadowrun, Xbox players get auto-aim where PC players don't.
Eh, if you can call it that. It's really not an auto-aim system at all. It's so minuscule that if you wouldn't hit them without the assist, you're not gonna hit them with the assist. Rather pointless, imo, but it sounds good to those who worry about inferiority. The only area it helps enough to make a damn is usin' the sniper rifle. It'll lead the target for you for about a half a second but only if the target, basically, appears out of nowhere. Same with CoD 4's snipin' system, for those familiar with that. However, the fact that you have to be scoped to fire the sniper rifle pretty much compensates, though be it far to much. I've never played a Shadowrun game against a team with a sniper. Most people are smart enough to realize it's futile.
Personally I say whatever makes you better do it. If you're no match for me with a controller then help yourself and give me a challenge, not speakin' to you directly, just statin' my stance. However, just like people who like the nifty CoD4 glitches, it'll all be meaningless in the end. What people who use these things and glitches for is to compensate for their lacks. No matter how much one person compensates, aside from auto-aim hacks, the better player, be it a controller or K&M user will win in the end. As far as I'm concerned I'm better with the controller so even in PC FPS games I use it and I've never once been bested just because of a M&K setup. I don't think either one is better than the other once a player masters his or her preference.
However, there's no morals or room for them on XBL, leave that to the FFXI soapbox brigade. Bring yer game and have a good time. About the only thing I consider cheatin' on the Xbox doesn't exist and that's auto-aim and shield hacks. Turbo controllers, ridiculously expensive K&M set-ups, bring it to me.
I would worry about precision though, with that thing. Like a lot of third party controllers, especially those crappy, crappy Gamestop wanna be 360 controllers, I bet it'll be crazy flawed in some way. I've tried to use just about every third party 360 controller out there tryin' to save money from buyin' a MS one and they all fail, horribly. If they can't get it right, I doubt this guy has mastered whatever skills need be to make a precise instrument. The fact that it's an upgraded version alone would bother me (if you get what I mean), especially since it's $100.
