OK, so I don't actually know Lordmighty, but he did make me considerably wealthy last night.
I was in Castle Zvahl(sp?) Baileys last night for about an hour trying to figure out how to get into the Keep so I could finish my BLM AF Boots. After countless circles and close calls, I decided to warp out and level something else for a while.
My screen loads after the warp and I am in front of the MH in Lower Jueno. The first thing I see in my chat log is Lordmighty announcing his retirement from FFXI, and that he was giving stuff away.
I look up and I had warped right next to him. I hit 'trade' and he gave me a bunch of stuff. While I ran into my MH, i yelled to my brother to get his ass to Lower Jueno to get free stuff too. He keeps giving me stuff for a while and then says hes empty, but he has a mule in Bastok. My brother and another player getting free stuff dash for the Airship, while I log into my mule, conveniently located in Bastok. When I logged into my mule, I had once again ended up right next to him, only this time it was his mule, Ladymighty.
I ended up making over 1.6mil off the stuff I got. It was awesome.
Lordmighty, enjoy RL and thanks again for giving me your stuff. Have a good life!
