Why are people so inconsiderate of others in this game

So, its common curtesy not to camp on top of another exp party if they were there first, but somehow this rule is thrown out the window in sky. me and my friend were duoing on blm in since mount zhayolm was already full. he needed a diorite and we was getting good exp (chain3 for 250ish exp). then some fucking LS name Dreams shows up, and i tell them in /say, were exping here and also trying to get diorite and they should try the other side. well, no reply from the /say so i send a tell to their leader, and still get ignored while they keep killing the mobs. Then their rdm gives me that "its a free world crap". Apparently there are other ppl on the other side. ok, so there are ppl on this side too, why camp of top of us when theres other ppl to camp on top of. Then me and my friend aggroed 2, which is ok, cuz we slept it.... and they dmg it. So great! thanks guys, you steal our mobs and try to MPK us.

/end rant but still extremely pissed off
 
If you're exping off sky pop item mobs, all rules are disregarded, because there are very few other camps to get that pop item.
 
It's not exactly rude of them since it's a mob that drops a pop item. It's kindof like saying anyone that kills Aura Pots is rude. =/
 
Welcome to sky! The priorities aren't the same as they are elsewhere. When you are clearly farming diorite mobs, you have every right to be counter camped. Go fight the Statues that do not drop the diorite if you're worried about exp.
 
they had an alliance, they could do the ones where Ulli is, there are tons there... so they are slightly harder, oh noes, or we can all stand there and and wait a long for mobs to respawn just cuz its easier.

what bothers me the most, even if u CC someone, its still rude to try to MPK them

and merc, i was helping my friend get a diorite too.

Perhaps there was another alliance at Ulli? Also, Ulli statues almost always have competition.
 
Sky mobs that drop needed pop items should not be fought for exp, because... well, they drop pop items. Any mob that drops any pop item should not be fought for exp, because countercamping is acceptable. You arent the only person that would like to have the pop item. There are dozens of other places to exp, but only 2 places to get that diorite. They have the right to CC you.

im not saying they are rude for killing a certain type of mob, its more that they either ignore tells when i suggest they go elsewhere or they make smartass comments in /say, then try to MPK us.

of course they aren't WRONG, your not breaking any rules for making the game more frustrating for others, but how they acted that pissed me off. This is a flameboard, and where i choose to rant.
 
Hardly sounds like an MPK attempt. Unless you sleep it and they dia it, then it's not an intentional mpk.

MPK? Why is it the natural thing for people to do is cry MPK when you weren't MPK'd? Did you and your party die as a result of what the LS did? In the context of the acronym MPK (multi/mass-player-kill), correct me if I'm wrong, but there are 2 things that must happen as a result of such a claim:

1. The premeditated intent of an affiliated group was to kill those outside of their affiliation.
2. The intention resulted in the death of those outside of their affiliation.

If 1. AND 2. happened then you have every reason to plead the initial part of your arguement. I know for a fact that those 2 conditions did not take place.

The second thing I will argue is that you should know better than to xp in places where pop items are obtained, without expecting others to CC you.

As it's rude for me not to respond to your /tells, it's equally as rude for you to expect the LS to move on the account of you xping, when clearly you were also after the same item.

I don't respond well to those who are rude to me. I don't think Dreams has anything to apologize for.
 
Fleist. I'm getting into semantics here but the OP said attempted MKP while you're arguing they are claiming they were mkped and you're using the fact that they didnt die as an argument that they weren't mkped when they said it was an attempt. An attempt to mkp someone will not always result in a death. You are arguing and trying to breakup an argument that technically wasnt even made there.

now to the OP.
You were farming. You were after a specific item that dropped in that area and as such you really werent there for the EXP. The exp was merely an extra reason to tag along. You arent fooling anyone whether or not it was intentional or unintentional to stretch the truth like that.
If you try to farm something other people are entitled to trying to CC you regardless of his stupid or worthless the item may be just like you have the right to CC anyone you want anywhere you feel.
 
The "M" in MPK means Monster, not Mass/Multi. Just so you know. =P

I never asked for an apology, i don't know how i was being rude to you until ur RM was being mouthy, so i said to her stop being a bitch.

and my /tell to you was not rude at all, i don't remember exactly what i said but i was in no way rude/bitchy/disrespectful to you at all, i simply asked if you guys could take the otherside.

In Alexxia's case, this would seem to include her own linkshells. (Was camping LoO a long time ago with a HNMLS which Alexxia was also a member of. She walks in with two members of another LS and starts CCing us...)

All in all, I'm open to the idea that she was camping it and lied about it. Not too far-fetched.

Actually, it is multi. Or it started out as multi, rather. Replacing "multi" for "monster" just derived from it because of more recent games.

no that is not what happened
my friend was camping LoO and askd me to come (he was not part of any HMN ls at the time either), so i did, then that LS saw me there and showed up and started camping, so they were CC my friend, but of course i was in that LS so i joined them and camped with that LS for 5+ hours.

and im pretty sure that is the incident you are talking about cuz i have never camped LoO anyother time.

and why are u bringing something up that happened a year ago? and at least get ur facts straight.
 
We didn't even attempt to MPK. The attempt means that there was the intention to do so, and there was no such intention. I think it was rather ignorant to assume that we were attempting to do so, which is what I'm argueing.

An attempt would be something like DoTing their slept mob. I hardly think this is the case, do you?

While i'm not going to tell you your wrong i'd advise you to make sure you're talking about the right person since there are like 4 people with near exactly the same name on this server lol. like allexxa, alexxia, allexia, allixea...you get the idea lol.
