Most NA I realized, when seeking party, don't put ANYTHING in their search comment.
Do you guys know it's their?

If I'm a party leader, and you're the same level as our highest level, if you don't have TNL displayed there I will not invite you. In fact at certain levels I might comb through and invite only people with "Teleport-Altep OK" in their comment. Something like that. If you have it, display it. As opposed to having 200 xp to level up and getting invited to a party that 10 minutes later the divide becomes too big.
It also is annoying how I always put my TNL up, and often I'm asked it like 5 minutes later.
If you do a search of me, click on my name to send me the tell. Wait 2 seconds and my message will appear. All the info you need is right there.

Note>> Please don't seek party unless you have money for food or at least the damn chocobo. I HAVE kicked people for this. I do not appreciate 5 people spending 800 gil on a chocobo made worthless because 1 person doesn't have the gil but still wastes my time seeking.

Anyway, I think the comment should be able to save (likes the marco).
Sometimes I forgot to re-edit it after I was d/ced.

Honestly, the comment really made me get invites from good Japan PTs. It shows the others you are READY to go anytime!!

yes you should write how much tnl in the comment, also ...
e.g.
Tele-crystals other than Mea/Holla/Dem you got
(some JP (rare N/A) PT at 30+ love to goto Altepa Desert)
Food you eat
specific spells you got/missed
weapons you got
Homepoint ... (usually Jeuno)
Language (Japanese/English PT= OK!)

I usually just put my TNL then "Please Invite Me!" then a happy smiley face :P. I've found most people don't even read my search comment anyway.

I always use my search comments, though it doesn't seem to do any good.

<Incredibly Tough> <Thief>
@ **** TNL
<Japaneese> <English> <Party> OK!!
Excellent puller, will travel

Thats the problem with search comments, not a lot of people use them. I know whenever I go out lfg I usually write something in my search comment about this or that, but I still get asked "do you have the crystal for teleport altep?" I dont mind too much when its from another member of the party, say the whm just making sure, but when its from the leader I just sigh to myself and say yes. Whenever you join a party you never really know what you are getting into (unless its a static) but sometimes good things happen, and sometimes bad things happen.

Oh, and I've heard some people tell me that @ 321 would mean they currently have 321 exp points and some have told me thats their tnl, thats another problem with that, some people dont know which it is (myself included :oops: ).

-Ham :shock:

The @ SHOULD mean TNL, which is what JP mean for it to be, which is how I use it, and most of the people who use @... but not all understand it.

@ = TNL

Spread the word. Yeah, I've also noticed people don't read. I've been asked my TNL in /tells before getting invited, I just laugh and tell them anyway. I mean, I'm trying to help people find me with a /sea comment, but the thing is, new players don't know how to use/access it... Hell, I didn't know how to access it until like 2 months ago. :oops: When farming, I'll put up the good ol' (Party) x (Gilfinder) (Treasure Hunter) (Busy) on my search comment... still some people don't get the point. Ah well.

Every once in a while I put something in my search comment to hopefully grab someones attention. Thing is, i hate that it dissapears every damn time I logout. I hate having to retype everything instead of just changing something about it to fit my current status. I just dont fill it out very often, but I probably will start using it more and more as parties become a little rarer. Right now though I'm still getting pretty good invites to good parties.

When I remember to, I usually have something like "@5000 Mind+10 Healing magic=135 Teleport-Altep OK" It never seems to do much though.

well, its very limited space,

<experience points> <party> OK
<artifact> <equip> <party> OK
<please> </tell> for more information.

i use to have <limit> <break> <quest> 1 done,

but, since im 52, lets hope people can assume ive done the quest to get past 50 :shock:

Usually I put my skills with weapons, tnl, important stats, food, and language. Like right now it'd be:

@1800 {Japanese}/{English} {Party} OK
{Sword}:87 {Dagger}:99 DEX=45+11
AGI=39+9 {food}={Meat Chiefkabob} (=ˆ.ˆ=)

Wish I had room to put that I have all the gate crystals, too. :/

I usually don't put anything because I often get invited when I'm not even seeking >.>

In fact, has anyone else noticed that you get more invites when you're NOT seeking?

As for what I DO put if I'm seeking.... its generally something like

@2500 <Please invite me.>
JP/NA PT O <-- (thats suppose to be the circle thing)
<I don't speak any Japanese.> ; ;

As for why some NA don't do it ... no idea -_-
And about the chocobo .... you would think the guy could just ask a friend to borrow some gil really quick or something ^^; .. at least having to borrow money for chocobo isn't as bad as having to borrow your PT's PLD's dark staff every time :oops:

i always use my search comment and it's usually the same thing everytime:
@ 10000 <teleport-altep> <all right!>
<Japanese>/<English> <Party> OK ^^
<Home Point> >>> <Lower Jeuno>
