why cant i get back whats mine

almost a year ago, i had bought an Elemental Torque for someone named Rhinegold cuz he needed/wanted it. we was in the same LS, and i forgot what name it was, but i bought it for 1.4Million to help him out. at the time, i had a lot of gil. he was suppost to pay me within the next couple weeks, but he is almost a year overdue.. so, i asked him to give me the torque cuz the selling price is much more. i posted about this awhile back on the old forum to tell him to pay the gil to my brother, Ultraseven or my friend Petey.. he said he payed him bout 300k but petey never got it.. so i come back to the game, after 11 months and got 400k from him but he isnt paying the rest of it.. i had just sent him 700k to return what he paid so i can get it back... i just want my torque back.. cuz i dont have much gil.. i cant reason with him, but instead, he calls me a gil buyer.. why? why must i be called a gil buyer when i want an item i didnt get paid for? this isnt a flame, but instead, im asking you, Rhinegold, to give me my torque back here on the forums...

what i blurred out was when i was reasoning with him about why the hell i should buy gil.. which has nothing to do wit the subject.. (for you nosey ass mofos)

Well it's obvious that people who help other people in anyway, shape, or form, are gilbuyers. Yeah, that makes perfect sense!

Oh, and he won't respond here, he'll avoid any confrontations/accusations made against him. He's done it before.

He won't return the troque no matter what tho. IF he replys to this thread, i can see him saying something along the lines of
"I'll pay you back soon"
"I sold it"
"What are you going to do if i don't give it back?"
"Too bad so sad" lol
"Buy more gil and get another one"

That's all i can think of right now it's late and i haven't slept yet (damn insomnia)

I hardly knew Fitz from when he quit a while back. He stopped by every now and then in ShizukaKinen (R.I.P), but that's about it.

He bought me the torque, telling me he was quitting, saying he spent the last part of his gil.

He was QUITTING, and I had no reason to believe he was coming back.

Now, he comes back out of the blue (and with gil), wanting his torque back.

No, Fitz, I am sorry. You are not getting MY torque. If you buy a gift for someone, NO MATTER THE PRICE, you are abdigating your control over it; it belongs to the recipient.

You sent me yesterday 700k in exchange for the torque. I sent you the 700k back and told you no, just as I have many other times.

Just because you bought something for me, REGARDLESS IF YOU COME BACK TO FFXI OR NOT, the torque is mine. You gave it as a gift, I graciously accepted it, end of story.

As for the 300k I supposedly owe you? Pfft. If it makes that much a difference to you, I'll send it.
 
So would this fall under "too bad so sad"?

Edit: But in all fairness man you should give it back. Like he did even try to PAY for it back.

okay.... im not getting it back... but why did you make that up? I never told anyone besides Valkyrs that I was quitting, and I KNOW you werent in that LS, which is why i asked you nicely to send the torque or gil to my brother, ultraseven, or my friend, petey in THIS forum.. if you must know, i did not spend the last of the gil before i left, i had 10M+ worth of gear and a couple Mil of gil which was sent to my brother.. and when i came back, i only had my rare/ex gear and 20k to start off with and had really good friends to help me out with some kinda gil.. hence, if you go back to this link. http://www.qcdn.org/showthread.php?t...ight=rhinegold , it asks for you to pay me back, and you replied that you where going to..please go back to that thread and read what you wrote, and dont lie in this thread.. in result, you can have the torque, but give me the 1Mil left that you owe, and please do not put words in my mouth and say i buy gil, told YOU i was qutting, or bought the torque as a GIFT...

thats all i wanted to say.. so after rhinegold has read this, please close this thread.. thank you..
 
its good to know who these people are. i make a little list of all the tools of Quetz and never PT with them, let alone ever think of helping them.
 
you did not reply to anything that i said... so im guessing that you KNOW you are wrong.. you owe me 300k for the gil that you did not send to petey.. you already paid me 400k for the torque.. so thats, 300k plus 700k for the rest of the payment..
 
Fitz you came back to game? which char you play on =)?.And yeah i really see no point in not giving back something that you borrow... nothin worse than making someone regret for trusting you.
 
you should definitely give it back if you said you were going to....

an elemental torque is definitely not worth a bad reputation..

Ya cause this totally proves they can't perform their job in a party.... god people with your attitude make MMO communities full of the retarded problems we see everyday.
 
Its got nothing to do with how well they perform in a party, some of us just prefer to party with people who aren't known to be lying cheating scum.
 
*agrees with Mistaya* One great thing about QCDN is that I know the type of ppl to avoid.....and its great. It makes it so that if you ever do anything jacked up to anyone in the game, it will come back to haunt you here and bite you in the ass.

I think you should pay off the rest of the gil you owe Rhine....if you cant do that immediatly, you should give the item back. Its like when you buy a car. When you dont make your payments, the bank sends the towing company to get your car. The ppl never want to give up the car but its gonna happen.
 
from what it seem If it was a gift or presum to be one then rinegold have every right to keep it. It seem lot people are jumping to conclusion and by all means rinegold might be a snake in the grass, but if it was a gift then in the old days we call this indian giving. I hope this end for the best :2cents:
