Now I rarely complain about partying (although I hate AFK people when flag is up) but this is really annoying the HELL out of me.. I am the ONLY WHM online within 5 levels.. and no one will invite me.. instead there are 16 people LFP right now.. including TWO full parties -whm.. but guess what? Since I speak english I'm SoL I guess..

I mean come on.. a pld, nin, war's, mnk's blm's, thf, cor, rdm... and they ignore me cause I can't speak their language.. They'd rather count rocks. :/

I feel your pain im a night player sometimes and biulding a pt at that time can really suck. There nothin but JP seeking and just about all of em sat JP onry. I've made some shitty pts but I usually find my self tryin to make my own pt because I hate the long ass seeking times. If thats unsuccessful I just camp a nm or farm while seeking
 
I'm a whm, so I'm pretty limited on my things I can do (ugh, weakness..) but this is ridiculous.. I'm fine to LFP for a few hours but not when theres THAT many seeking.
 
Well, I'm guilty of your AFK while seeking fault.. in fact I fell asleep for 8 hours last night while seeking in Jeuno. And again for 30 mins to an hour in Kazham today. I know it's bad, but I get so sleepy after partying (probably due to too much late night partying... so whenever I party it feels like bedtime XD). I see the tells I get and I feel really bad about it. I think it's time I reinstated the auto logout afte a period of inactivity.... otherwise no one will invite me anymore ; ;

On the subject of some people ignoring others based on language preferences... I know I'd hate to play in a party full of Japanese speakers, cos I can't stand that I can't read what they type.... I won't know what they want to do, where they want to go and stuff like that and that will irritate me to no end.

On that, I try to use the auto translator whenever I have JP players in the party... but you guys know how much conversation that makes.
 
I can speak phrases involving XI in JP, but not actual conversation.. and I can't read theirs so it is pretty useless aside as a novelty.. but when you see 2 tanks, 3 refreshers, and a dozen melee seeking and youre the ONLY WHITE MAGE ... it's frustrating that none will invite you or respond :/

Yeah, I know how that feels... and it's in fact quite amazing that so many people did that.

I'm not sure how'd I'd respond to an invit like that though lol. I'm being honest.
 
Most of my PTs are JP, must be something wrong with you^^
 
I understand my aura of "omg good whm" is blinding at times but seriously this is ridiculous >.<
 
Nothing teaches a Janpanese player English faster than an English speaking BRD their level lfg.
 
There's rdm's, cor's seeking now.. I'm the only whm and still nothiing -.-;
 
I remember one time when I was lfp as WHM, I had to wait like 5 hours to get an invite, and that's too much for me >.> (I always seek as JE)

Days ago it was like 11pm or something, I wasn't lfp, I was using blm (it was 13 I remember) and then I got a /tell from a japanese player o.O I can read and understand some japanese (I study the language) so I understood he was asking me to party >.> even if I was kind of far away, he didn't care, all the party was japanese and they had the courtesy to wait for me. We made REALLY FAST exp in Korroloka Tunnel, I got 4 levels that night (almost 5) for like 3 hours o.o
 
learn basic jp, or learn the saying im american and proud i will put it up for u later when home got it on my pc and they will inivte u :P
 
i've often wondered the same thing. but there's nothing we can to to change their attitude towards NA players. which sux.

i never meet a brd flg :3 all ways invite them wehn not flg as its a person who makes you dance :P mate was flg 1 second ish on 75 brd and guess what he was in a party in tauo for those points for coins
