Actually honestly i dont know why. For the first year i was a member here, i never EVER looked at the FB. But for some reason, its grown on me, like a virus. I check it second after General Discussion and before my own LS section. Hell, by the time i get here, there can be a 10 page post that wasnt there when i was on earlier in the day. Thats what makes me come back, i guess id have to say morbid curiousity...
 
Maybe a fraction of each, but my primary reason for coming to the FB, and why I rarely post on it, is because I use it as a tool to find out whos doing what. It allows me to see the reputations of others, as well as whats going on in my server.
 
Morbid Curiousity because it's alot like when you have a loose tooth and it hurts like a son of a bitch but you can't stop poking it with your tongue. I always come and look every few days and end up saying to myself "Why did I come here?". Like....right now.....bugger.

I HAD to go with "All of the above". Yes, I become an emofag... I cry when think about how stupid some of today's youth is. Then to imagine that they are our future.

I had a nightmare once that we evolved to a race of morons! We could no longer talk normally. Most conversations were held via handheld devices or instant messaging and all of the words, in every language that were intentionally misspelled or shortened were considered correct according to all dictionaries.

Excuse me... I... I... need a tissue.

It's a combination of the choices, but mainly because I'm emo. I'm not the closet emo, or the in-denial emo, I'll actually argue why being emo is ok.

I enjoy a good debate-- the ones that are usually more in debth than the "I'm better than you!" "No, no you're not.." "He stole my bike.." type stuff. Sometimes I just enjoy writing. ;o

It's also a good vent. So easy to come on here and get a good laugh or release frustration through means of debating silly in game stuff.

And lastly, I think we all naturally enjoy a bit of drama and contraversy. Same holds true for television and soap operas. The flame board's just sorta one big sitcom to me. One that I occassionally participate in. There is just not enough content in the other forums to really get lost in.
 
Entertainment.I'm not going to lie if there was no qcdn i would have lost the reason to play long ago
 
Conflict is in human nature. Everybody is different, with varied morals and values, differing political views, and coming from different walks of life.

We aren't all going to agree on the same things or approve of what others are doing.

...and some people are born assholes. I'm not talking about Shaunessy, Mokk, Meeze, Cubs, Vang (well, maybe), or any of the normal culprits. Nope, born assholes don't realize they are being assholes, and actually think they are good people. This Flameboard has been pretty spot on, and I find it funny when these people end up calling themselves out.

I see to remember a flame about Blinxx and Bigdadddy (too many d's?). Those two... wow. Posts with all caps 4tw! :biggrin: Now that was entertainment folks. :spiteful:
 
This is some of the best enterntainment I get all day long. There is no way I can pass this site up.
 
Personally i went with the occasional good conversation. Usually there's not too many of those to be found when in game stuff is concerned but it does happen. I only have a handful of people anywhere near approaching my level intellectually on the boards and it's nice to mix it up with intelligent people who don't mind being wrong or don't mind it too much when i'm wrong.

Those 7 of you who voted cheaper than a trip to the zoo fucking rule.
