Why are the only people who make parties waaaayyyyy above my level range, or complete IDIOTS!

Good example:

I get a tell today asking me if I want to startup a pt with a Samerai and a Black Mage. Well, there's a skillchain and a burst right there, we'd then just need either kind of tank and some other mage depending.

Sure thing.

So our pt get's filled with Pld, War, and Whm. Okay great. MP regen is going to be a bitch, but whatever.

Then I see our Warrior is using a 1-h sword. At level forty-seven. He's also subbing Ranger, yet has about HALF the gear he would need to even attempt being a Ranger. Why even try to be a Ranger? BE A RANGER!

So I ask him if he intends to xp with that gear... oh of course.

Well, I think everyone can guess where this conversation leads. The Warrior ends up leaving the party, and the funny thing is our Sam is furious with me for it. Yeah, okay.

So then we get the perfect replacement for the Warrior. Ninja.

...so i send the BLM a tell asking him what the Ninja is for. Is our Paladin leaving, or is our Ninja going to be doing ranged atk... hell I don't know. I was trying to be optimistic.

Oh, the Ninja is for the spiders special ability. I'm assuming he's referring to the spiders sickle slash or whatever it's called. My only decent quicksands pt had a nin who refused tot ank spiders, so I dunno.

Not only did we just invite a Ninja solely to take the damage of one attack, but I suppose I'm supposed to save sata JUST so I can place hate on the Ninja right before the attack? I can't comprehend how else the Ninja would instantly grab hate from the Paladin without a helluva coordinated control on hate by the entire pt.

Okay, if the party leader thinks this si a good idea. I'm, sorry. I'm not up for this.

I left before the party was completed and I felt obligated. I then get a nice tell from the Samerai saying good riddance. As if insulting my gear earlier hadn't been stupid enough on his part. Well, I don't imagien this pt ever got anywhere, I saw different segments of it in crawler's later, and the Ninja replaced someone in my groupa about the time I was leaving.

The next group I got wasn't much better, and that again was the setups fault.

To put it simply, why can't people follow a simple recipe for a pt?

- 1 Part Tank *Expect to have your beverage shaken, not stirred.*
- 2-3 Parts Melee *WHO CAN SKILLCHAIN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD*
- 2-3 Mages to handle either buff/debuffs, and healing.

You get the above recipe and you can get decent xp. Great xp? Maybe maybe not, but decent xp. YOU CAN GET XP!

How many 3k xp an hour parties do I have to waste free time and good food on? Simply because the dumbass running it can't figure out something as simple as a skillchain?

I actually considered that I should have knuckles and a monk sub ready to go, then I remembered I would have someone to sc with if jobs with two A grade weapon proficiencies would level those weapons.

That's a rant for another time.
