i have no clue... :?

;/ its not only giraffe....
why you gotta ask dumb queztionx? (discuss)

Then enlighten us, oh knowledgable one, what else does it mean?

Kirin is a mythological monster, as are a lot of the monsters in the endgame. It's far more likely that they chose the name from mythology rather than from one translation of his name into english.

Kirin is also a rather good brand of light Japanese beer.

In this case however I think what you are looking for is this:

Kirin: The Japanese unicorn, an animal-god who punishes the wicked with its single horn. It protects the just and grants them good luck. Seeing a kirin is considered an omen of extreme good luck - if one is a virtuous person.

well, i asked if he'd give me his osode, he said no, so i shot him.

Last I checked, he wasn't a unicorn ingame, so that must be his evil brother.

he certainly hasn't been bringing us any damn luck -_-
