Depends on who it is practicing the art. Obvious to me this guy was more interested in showboating for the crowd than winning the fight, I'd call that just plain stupidity.
Someone who knows capioera and wasn't acting like a jerkoff would have a whole lot more fight in him methinks.
Funny as hell nonetheless.

I could be considered an amature at best and i gotta say that that guy looks like he sucked.
A) he didn't have his guard up and charging right into a fist is generally discouraged. He should have been able to do an esciva (or however it's spelled. I've not done this in a long time) to dodge said punch and respond with a kick easily.
B) attempting to showboat when you haven't earned the skill needed to pull it off and not get your ass beat down is discouraged.
C) upon further examination of the movie he actually jumped after the punch was started so he should have seen it coming and he simply completely and utterly fucked that up. I at least thought at the start that he was punched before he landed but he was trying to do fancy bullshit when at least 2 basic maneuvers would have saved his ass.

I thought it looked familiar checked that movie out a few weeks ago was a teen movie for the most part
mmhmm. It had a few good fight scenes but I would much rather watch real MMA.

Agreed, but capoeiristas are ultimately less stable, simply by the nature of their art...Comparing to other martial arts that focus on stability, leverage, and movements that require the least amount of movement and generate the maximum effect.
