Widescreen Resolution

Hi guys. I was lucky enough to get myself a new computer for Christmas. However, it has a wide screeen measuring 17". While I can play ffxi on it, things seem a little stretched. Can any of you recommend a resolution to use that will make it so that things aren't stretched? I've read things here and there about a registry edit, but I don't know what the edit is. Thanks ^^/

Config > Misc. 2 > Background Aspect Resolution. Default is 4:3, you want either 15:9, 15:10, 16:9, or 16:10. Whichever your monitor uses.

What's kinda cool is MogToolz.

You can tweak the graphics registry to do some cool stuff. MogToolz provides a simple gui interface so you don't have to go into it yourself. I use it to set my resolution and bg to 1680x1050. So you could set it to whatever your WS monitor res is.
