Incorrect, but thanks for playing.
Also incorrect. You can PERSONALLY CREATE one BACKUP copy of something you own, if it's backed up on the same media as the original, for archival purposes. Note that doesn't mean you can own something, make an archival copy, and then sell the original. Owning that copy then becomes illegal as it's no longer a backup of something you own.
Also incorrect. Modifying a console will void out any warranty you might've had. Also, if you don't know what you're doing, you're very likely going to turn that expensive console into an expensive doorstop.
i dont see how thats incorrect when its true, you just changed the word copy to back up and said the same thing....and where i come from one copy means the same thing as one back up, on a disc of the same meda, i didnt say archiving anything. and every copy of every game i have has been personally done by me using QWIX for xbox, raw dump for 360 and dvd decrypter for ps2 and dvd formats. I dont trust other peoples iso's unless i have a way to boot the ISO before burning it, i dont like coasters.
and i dont have to keep my warranty, i can break my warranty if i want. The current case going on about the fall update bricking flashed drives, the judge said that M$ does not have the right to do that because these people own the system and can do whatever they want to it because its theirs, that would include if you decide to open it and break your warranty.
my warranty was broken 2 weeks ago when i opened the case and modded it.
and its true, if you dont know what your doing yorll have a paperweight lying around, so i would say people who have no clue shouldnt even attempt to modify something like that.
thats not to go and say i dont download albums and movies before they come out, or music i dont have the cd to. cause im sure people downloading video game music and the like dont own the cd and never will. I download all day everyday when i browse around, usually in the end i download something, if i like it i buy it, if i dont i delete it. Frankly i dont care what people think of that especially since just me alone is an insanley small percentage of how many people actually do this, which is pretty much everyone ive ever come into contact on the net, no matter how much they would like to deny it for the sake of argument, they have pirated something.
So, long live piracy. It will never die.
