Wii News activated this weekend.

Saw this earlier today, can't wait to have my wii channels all working finally.

I hope it makes world events as exciting as it made weather.

*cryptic* It's raining in Shanghai..

Hurray hope I can get all the celebrity dish on my wii.

And the blinking blue light on my Wii means that WiiConnect24 has picked something up, which ended up being a message from Nintendo about the news channel being available now. My Wii is updating as I type. :P

Edit: This is very nice. You can browse the news by type (National, International, Sports, Tech, etc). While reading, it displays on the Wii Map where the story is from (ie: The story that says the News Channel is coming on Saturday [lol it's Friday] says it's coming from Seattle, where Nintendo of America is based). Also when you're in a certain category, you can select the slide show option. The slide show will list all of the headlines for that category, show where it's from on the map (if applicable), and show a picture if the article has pictures. I like this. I can picture me using this a lot more than the Weather Channel.

Also, pet the kitties while it's loading.

It feels weird reading about the women who died in that raido contest to win a wii, considering im reading about it on my wii. I also like that I can get movie reviews on wii news.

Lucky, I'm still having trouble getting online. I need to find my WEP code, but its inside my computer apperently, and I can't remember what my username and password is.

Reset your router and set everything up again. There should be a button on the back of the router. Depress it for 10 seconds or so and reset everything back to its default settings. You should then be able to log into your router using the default user name and password (typically Admin and no password). Then set everything up again and enter in the information.
