Wiimote warning, nothing to panic about

IT APPEARS THAT TOSSING YOUR REMOTE HAS MADE THE GYROSCOPE DISAPPEAR!!!

lol. Its there. it cant not be there.
I was doing some looking into the tech on the wiimote, the sensors it uses are basically MEMS (really freaking small) at this point, so my assumption would be that they're somewhere directly on the controller's circuit board, and not noticable unless you know what to look for. Same for the nunchuk, thing weighs like an ounce.

All i see that could possibly be a small gyro is a small black round thing with a red and blue wire attached to it. Its about the size of the A button on the Wii remote.

Btw i went out and got myself another Wii remote today and beefed up the laniored so it would not brake on me. Now i'm thinking of a way i can return the broken remote and get it replaced with a working one.

well, your wii should still be under warranty, and since that remote came with the wii... well, idk, but you might be able to have a new one mailed to you. Just call them and ask whats up..

Well just got off the phone with Nintendo. Seems they will be sending me a new Wii remote free of charge. Also i found a nice way to beef up the laniored.

Cut the cord where it has the U and double it up around the the plastic. I tuged the hell out of it and it won;t budge so lets hope this prevents any future misshaps for me.

I just thought I'd let you all know about something I encountered today so nobody goes and panics(somewhat) like I did today.

Remotes were working and then suddenly stopped being detected in mid-menu selection, so I went through the seek mode (1+2) and it did nothing for either remote, tried moving the sensor bar, checked my cables, everything was fine, but no signal. After checking the white manual(hardware), I found that your remote that comes with the system is synced to your Wii and if it ever loses that synchronization, there's an easy method to re-sync it, and even add another synced remote that can be used to power on/off the console.

Just a few easy steps to follow.
1: Turn the Wii off if it was on
2: Power the Wii on, do not pass the black screen that has the warning and says "Press "A" to continue"
3: Open the battery cover to the remote(s) that you're having trouble with and push the little red "SYNC" button, the player # lights will start flashing.
4: Open the SD card panel on the Wii and push the red "SYNC" button in there while the blue player # lights are still blinking on the remote.

If you did this correctly, the remote should work again right away, and if you do this to multiple remotes, the one used to power on the Wii will be player #1 every time.

This happened to "Mii" too ahhahahahah ><

That's the vibration motor. The Wii remote doesn't use anything as unstable as a gyroscope. It uses a 3-axis accelerometer made by Analog Devices.

The accelerometer is the small black chip at the bottom-left of the image. More information for the curious here.
