Oh and on a side note; coming on here and saying someone plays too much is stupid considering 3/4 the people that post on here are a frequent player on FF11. And saying im too poor to afford food? please im willing to bet you still live at home with your PARENTS bc of how childish you are coming out in your posts...If you want to say i suck in game; my gear sucks fine but dont claim i cant afford anything when you have no clue. Oh and another thing; if you are going to put down someones gear or even say they have no skillz id atleast have something to back it up with.

I post once in a blue moon, but come on... i really think some of you post about the game, more then you actually play it... stop worrying about everything that happens, thats what real life is for, and enjoy the game... some of you people really need to seek help

You're an idiot. There were no links. Vang has consistantly made up BS stories every single time he loses at anything because he can't stand to lose. I camped Argus for 2 weeks and outclaimed him several times on both Argus and LK. Guess what happened? I was called a counterc amper, a search whore among many other things because his ego couldn't stand to lose. I was there at camp every single time prior to him. I stayed there for days on end. I even had a THF in my party 90% of the time, but he'd talk about how I am wasting the drop without TH2. He is just full of shit and nothing he says can ever be taken seriously. Notice he didn't want to pursue the first hand accounts and it just makes me wonder why... Couldn't be because he wants to save face after he fucking lied... naw, that's not it, Vang doesn't lie. He just distorts the truth to seem like an e-thug.

He even got banned from his beloved forum for being a fucking dumbass. The irony of it all is he thinks he's missed and no one even cared he was gone. Last time he got banned, he came crawling back like a bitch. He even had to have Kat beg for him that's how pathetic he is. Omg that was a funny day. Bet you had to kiss Sculli's ass for that one didn't ya? But I guess that's the way you do all your business, right? :shok:

Not like it isn't blatantly obvious they don't bot, but it's a lot more fun when you see people struggle to save face. They've realized that they're so knee-deep in shit right now, anything they post will just further incriminate them.

Botting is one of those things nobody will ever be able to know except the guy who does it. There's no way to know if this guy bots or not just based on pure speculation and certainly not based on his claiming record. Some people bot. Some people have really fast connections and really fast reflexes. We all want to believe the people on our team our doing "the right thing," even if in order for that to be true, we have to change our own definition of what right is. On the same level, we all want to believe our rivals are skill-less, moral-less people because we don't see them as the individuals they are, rather a collective enemy that we seek to challenge the humanity of.

I make this promise to you all. Any linkshell, no matter how moral, has had someone botting when they camp Dragon Aery. I say this because all the shells that camp there get claims sometimes. Now, not every claim is a bot-claim... but when your shell gets claims more often than a 5% fluke, the chances are pretty high someone is using a bot, because all the rivals are as well.

Now bots are a disgusting advantage but it's impossible to prove who uses them. For all you know Chronicles doesn't bot but their second best claimer does. For all you know one of your own linkshell members who claims just a little more than average is using a bot. People who are using bots don't tell people about it. They just do it, because bots have dominated that camp since before NA even came there and they're tired of only the cheaters getting the good gear.

So can I judge this guy just cause he got.. what, 5 claims out of 200 camps? It's better than the average no doubt. It's definetly not conclusive. Without POS hacks added into it, or people making overly obvious consistant motions towards the area the mob is going to spawn it before it spawns... just have to throw your hands in the air and say, "well if he did it, he got away with it."

Better to give the benefit of the doubt without any real evidence. And honestly, better all shells have a botter or two than only a few, if those are our choices. I'd just assume give everyone a bot so nobody has an advantage.

It's kind of a weird feeling I have about bots. Same as guns. I don't really like guns but I'd rather every American have a right to own one than only the criminals.
 
you mean proof like a chatlog comparing bots/settings with the accused?

That's hardly all that conclusive. Not saying anything about wether he actually bot or not, but if it wasnt 8 A.M i could easily get a friend to rename himself to Meeze on msn and have a conversation about botting and then post it.
 
Oh I glanced over that because it didn't seem like it was anything important I didn't read it. Yeah... shows someone named Chrono talking about hacking with someone with a scratched out name. I don't know what to tell you, but I'm not sold based on that.

Anyone who hates the shell is going to see that and declare they're cheaters. Anyone who is in the shell or friendly with the shell is going to assume it's fake. What good is it really?

You don't have to have x-ray vision to look at the scribbles and see the name scribbled out is Necrosis. Would be pretty silly for him to post pics incriminating himself up for no apparent reason. I'm not saying that the chatlog has to be 100% authentic, I'm just saying I don't see any reason why he'd make it up. That + some rather fortunate claiming just doesn't sit very well with me. But I agree with you in that there are probably plenty more botters at a given camp than just him. Lying and acting high and mighty is just silly, and he'll end up being the next joke of the FFXI community like Heidegger with his infamous afk claim on fafnir.
