Will this combo work as an uber buffer?

Ok, I know that you can only use 2 songs to buff as a bard. I also know that you can only use 2 phantom rolls as a corsair.

My question is this:

Do Phantom Rolls and Bard Songs stack? If so, would COR/BRD be an excellent buffer? Or would it be better to have BRD/COR so you can use higher level songs? Either way, half powered or not, a buff is a buff.

Of course this would only work if you could use Phantom Roll abilities on top of Songs.

Ballad I + Ballad II + Healer's Roll + Corsair's Roll (For mages while resting)

Madrigal I + Madrigal II + Chaos Roll + Ninja's Roll (For melee during battle)

Just a thought. Not sure if it would even work (or if it would even be worth it.)
 
BRD/COR and COR/BRD may only have a total of 2 effects generated by them active at once(read the update info ppl)

Thats per BRD or COR, of course. We dont need any more bad rumors going around... "No, we already have a COR, the BRD's songs wont stick!" ><
 
I know this is a little off topic, but for those with melody earrings (latent effect: evasion skill +5), COR buffs do activate the latent effect just like BRD songs. Found out last night in an exp party.

So this means 2 songs 2 rolls at once right?
 
Meh, thats queer. 2 different abilities. Should both be able to place 2 buffs at once. But w/e. Its SE. Iv learned not to expect too much.

Yeah, how dare they not allow game-breaking job combos...
 
Wouldn't be game breaking really. Bards can already do 2 Peons at once, so would it really completely break down the game with 2 Peons and a healers roll? I personally dont think so.
 
ok so hears how it works i know because i've tested it... Brd/cor and Cor/brd do not work....you can't have 4 buffs from one person IF you have a BRD and a COR in the pt they can both do their seperate buffs and allow all 4 up at once.... but brd/cor combo doesn't work sadly i know cause i really wanted that since i play a brd anywaysy

a BRD amd COR in party you can get 4 buffs and BRD/COr you get 2 and a COR/BRd you get 2
COR buffs are not as good as got to wait 1min for a new one and for 4 buffs (2 mages 2 melle) take 4mins just to buff

Was this really necessary? I was merely establishing a base before asking the question if 4 buffs would stick?

you can have multiple corsairs for multiple rolls, like 4 corsair rolls and stuff, which is kinda nifty sometimes, not the same roll ever, but you can have seperate buffs
 
Same way with brd. One of the best pts I've been in had 3 DDs and 3 brds with 6 songs up at once
