Will this combo work as an uber buffer?

How much is COR refresh is it 3? If so, COR/BRD would be fantastic for a BLM PT, manaburn or alliance. 3 from the COR refresh and 1 from the ballad.

So if your setup is like this; BLMx4 RDM/DRK COR/BRD, the BLM will get 3 from RDM and 4 from the COR.

This could free up BRDs in big HNM fights such as Wyrms and Kirin, etc. I know some times I get switched around ALOT in big fights when we are low on BRDs.

Not to mention that none of the new jobs are finished yet, so who knows, maybe they will enhance the rolls, like AF.

HOWEVER; If your alliance leaders are extermely good, and everyone is fast in swapping, you could do SMN(orBLM)x3, RDM, COR, BRD. This setup gives you 9mp per tick! But since Evoker's Roll is 1mp/per tick when you don't roll 8,10,5,or 11 some people will look down on this. But when COR get's AF this might change.^^;

Then its not really worth it. What average exp party would have 2 buffers in it? IMO not many.

I have seen a 3 buffer party as well, it works really well for "bones" party with 3 mnk and 3 brd

I'd imagine 2BRD and 4mnk would be better. 2x March 2x Minuet. 3rd BRD would be leeching.

BRD/COR and COR/BRD may only have a total of 2 effects generated by them active at once(read the update info ppl)

That's what I meant, each person can generate 2 effects max.

I know this is a little off topic, but for those with melody earrings (latent effect: evasion skill +5), COR buffs do activate the latent effect just like BRD songs. Found out last night in an exp party.

Doesn't anyone read anymore? I knew the answer to this question and many other questions I see shouted before the expansion even came out.

If I'm downloading a 2 hour update I'd be the least bit curious as too what was actually in it.

I agree, but we had 3 brd and it worked pretty well. Rare to get a non conventional party and kind of fun
