Epic. I'm not a hardcore Tennis fan, but I try and watch all the majors every year, and today's match (though long as fuck) was probably the best match I've ever seen. Personally, I like Federer, but Nadal really earned it today and it was nice to see him win one.

Thoughts?

Soooo fucking exciting. I normally don't like Tennis much, it's fun to play, but I don't really like watching it. It was really enjoyable and I watched the last 3 sets without hardly even changing channels ;D

Easily the best finals match in 7-8 years, maybe longer.

Reminds me of the epic matches in the 70s

Most epic thing I've seen was in the early rounds, I think 2 years ago, Serena got pitted against a girl that was raised in the same hometown as the Williams. It was some no-name girl that I'd never heard of and took Serena into like a 30 point tie-break. Not like 16-14 kinda of 30 points, I'm talkin 30-29 kind of tie-break only to lose to Serena.

Still that chick had some fuckin grit to wear down a household name like Serena and almost take her out in the early rounds.

I was pretty disappointed with the tournement overall, especially the womens side of things (woohoo, ANOTHER Williams Vs Williams final...) but as an individual match the final was really good, far far better than i thought it would be. I'm glad Nadal won, i think he deserved it.

I'm not much of a tennis fan and watch rarely any of it, but I watched most of this match and I must say it was just amazing, you have to have crazy endurance to do what those two did and Nadal definitely earned it.
