seems to be working on lots of peoples fine....

Thanks so much for an explanation on whats wrong :D You're so helpful, I wish everyone else was so insightful with their posting!!!

Seriously, is there anything that has to be done, or just dl, unzip, click and go?

Ever since SE has royally *$@%#! my ffxi...I haven't been able to get on the game to begin with...

soo thus I have been having the same forced quit aka "this application needs to end due to blah blah blah..."

so I don't know if that helps knowing that someone else is having problems out there

It does that even when bypassing Windower, straight through the Playonline link in jer Start Menu?

i guess it takes alot of wit to be sarcastic.

on that note, why dont you check the website? its not like it doesnt tell you everything and more of whatt you need for it to work.

you unzip it, you run launcher.exe... and it works.

Site runs slower than hell right now, still. I asked here, since people here are using it fine.

As of last night:

TParty worked for me
Distance worked for me

Windower macros did not work for me
Clock did not work for me

I never checked for an updated Clock plugin, nor did I check for the macros. I will presume there's updated info for both, I just can't check archbell from here.
I can't seem to get distance to work on my machine at all.

Edit: Just realized that I forgot to change the .ini file to autoload the distance plugin, I would imagine that would help. I'll check if that fixes it after the maint.

My distance previously always failed to load at startup, so I disabled it. Right now, it does not auto-start. I run it using load distance from the console, and that has been working for me in 3.22.

I should also add that I did not update any plugins; I downloaded the 3.22 zip file off the temporary homepage of Archbell, unzipped it, overwrote all, and that's it. Not sure if they included updated plugins with that zip.

Yeah, my distance plugin works now, I just forgot to have it actually load up.

So it works now if you load it from startup? Oh glorious day, how I have longed for this!

Measures the distance between you & your target. Extremely useful for ranged attacks, but I find it ruins gameplay quite a bit. It's fun to turn off all plugins, turn off names, and just run around the world free as a bird every now and then.

Yeah, it's useful as hell for bard and precision ballad casts to only hit the pld.
