Windower help on Windows 7

yeah that location i only have the x86 version not the 64 and the .net framework probrably not

got it from a friend though(kparse) and its clean he said sometimes he had the same trouble

the file trojan is in dell support center called sprt.dll or something of the like

its possible i got this from gimp but this time i just started kparse setup then unistalled it since during installation it could have been already inside, but I highly doubt it since it activating recently

the restore program took gimp off of my comp so its not on my comp currently.

i tried to delete the sprt. dll but it kept saying the program was still in use, I tried closing anything that said dell and it still didnt work so I deleted support center and it said it was still there when i checked file location it took me to the folder that held kparser, windower(i've been running this for at least a week or two now though).

.NET Framework 3.5 is required; the KParser installer on the site I linked in a previous post will install it if you don't already have it.

If you've got an x86 OS, you only need the x86 version installed. If you've got an x64 OS, you have to install both the x86 and the x64.

I tried looking up information on "sprt.dll" but I wasn't sucessful; was it "sport.dll"? If so, that's apparently a section of code for a Win95 screensaver application. Neither should have anything to do with KParser.

I'd highly recommend downloading the file from the Google Code site, and trying a fresh install from there. I don't know where your friend got his copy, and it's probable that it's also an older version, too. The KParser coders provide fairly frequent updates.

i dont remember the exact name of the trojan but it didnt have o in it, since I do remember seeing sport right next to the trojan(sprt or sprts.dll); its possible i got them from somewhere else. I dunno it's just fishy; but coincidentally its the same version i dled

In the future I'd recommend getting programs only from the original coder's site, rather than from a friend. It's dicey getting things from people who may or may not be sufficiently savvy when it comes to ensuring his computer's digital hygiene.

understood

do you know what program helps you open parser files for viewing after saving them btw?

I believe you can open them in KParser itself.

I'll have to look when I get home, but I believe it has an option somewhere to give a more aesthetically-pleasing view of the results, as well.
