My windower appears to be broken and all of the sudden AVG starts going crazy about Priority.dll

AVG's been doing that to me since this mornings AVG update. SE windower's colour mode is apparently fixed with this update so it'll be bareable till Windower is fixed (I hope).

You don't need the priority plugin unless you run multiple accounts using the same FFXI installation.

Edit: Although yeah, Windower usually breaks after big updates lol

Don't use priority?

I tried removing it but it keep messing up. I'll try disabling more plugins.

No no, don't disable them manually. Completely remove it from windower start up

Windower is fine. Recast plugin is not. Change init.txt to read

//load Recast

Recast I expect to be broken.

I fixed the plugin loads it by inserting waits.

i dont think i understand how to fix this :(

Go into your windower files. Scripts > Init. Type "//" in front of Recast so it doesn't automatically load. Save and exit. Thats the plugin that is currently broken and is giving you the error message when you login I'd imagine. It should work fine after that.

Or if you're lazy like me you can just drag the error box off the screen and continue normally.

there is already // infront of recast

perhaps the lazy way will be best for me.

I need to wait for a Priority fix. Mine got broke in the update D:

Make sure you aren't looking at the examples/description, and are looking at the actual plugins. This is what mine looks like:

//Load plugins -- Remove the // from plugins you want to have autoloaded
// TParty : TP #'s beside party members names and HP% number on target
// Distance : Shows distance to current target
// ConsoleBG : Puts a background behind the console
// Recast : Shows Recast Timers for All Abilities and Spells - BROKEN on nov19th. <----- This is the example/description.
// ll : Auto stacks items entering inventory and has profile system for auto lot and pass
// Timestamp : Adds time stamps to all chat log messages
// Silence : Removes all 'Equipment Changed' messages from the chat log to reduce spam
// Priority : Fixes Square Enix's Priority problem when game loses focus. Should not be removed until windower 3.4
load Priority
load TParty
// load Distance
// load ConsoleBG
// load Recast <---- This is the actual plugin
// load LL
// load Timestamp
//load Silence

Is anyone else having unrealistic lag issues now where they used to have none? Or laggy areas are now worse then before? before this update i could do campaign or besieged with minimal problems. now it like im viewing a slideshow one frame at at time. a monster's HP hits zero and 5 seconds later i see the WS or spell that killed it.

prior to the update i did not have this problem.

this happend to me too last night in a meripo but i just thought it was my processor not keepin up

i've been laggier than normal, but nothing like the slideshow you're watching :P

And I cant zone properly....
I tried to zone into MH and it just stopped.. the screen stayed black and nothing happened for 3 mins

Me and mdk are experiencing issues while zoning :

- it takes forever to zone since yesterday
- while using outpost warp, you name will stay on the screen for 15 seconds without your body, and you can still move, then you actually warp

it takes the gate guards roughly 10-15 seconds to cast signet on me. just started happening recently, I'd say...a day or two.

I don't use windower though, which would lead me to believe that the problem isn't completely windower related, and more-so just another SE thing.

Also happens when casting the spell Warp. And I'm getting the 2-minute zoning issue as well today. Figures.
