Hey i just installed FFXI again last night and decided to grab the windower this morining.

When i tried to boot the windower up i got this message:
"Your FFXI registry entries are corrupted. Please verify your settings in Windower.ini."

Anyone have any ideas how i can fix this problem? because playing without the windower is a real pain in the ass.

Uhm sounds like you have more problems than just the windower. I suggest you run a file check on ffxi through pol (its an option before logging into pol). Corrupted registry for ffxi is bad and would likely require a reinstall. How that got corrupted is a even bigger issue.

Nevermind

Nevermind i figured out the problem.

It was as i originally thought i need admin rights to run POL, so i switched users to give myself them (i keep my internet surfing user with limited rights in case i get a cirus...i figure it might slow them down or something). When i tried to boot up POL to run your check it said i needed admin rights, so i logged and came back on. Turns out i was right and now both windower and POL are working.

Thanks for the help though Rones, i'm just glad there isn't some sort of registry problem when i only installed it last night :D
