Windower Problem

A couple weeks ago yall might remember me posting about dual screen capabilities of Computers. Well i Finnally downloaded the windower and it works BUT i cant fiqure out how to maximize the Game so it takes up one Screen

And when i get it makimized is there a way to return it to a smaller screen and not have my Cursor a be all dislocated?

When you open the folder to get the windower options like "Screen shots, Launcher, Windower, and ect". Click windower for the config settings and then start messing around with the resolution. I had to set my resolution to 1000 by 700 and if you want to have fullscreen and go to other things press alt tab.(thanks to marajade for telling me how to do it )

There's a setting in windower called "true fullscreen" or something like that. Set it to 1, then you can Alt-Tab or Window Key out of the game.

The setting is in the windower.ini file in the directory you installed/unzipped the game to. There aren't many settings in there, so it will be easy to spot.

I don't know what this will have with dual screens.

*edit: Actually, I don't think you can alt-tab out when you set that setting to 1. Read what the .ini says about it.

this is just my second post i'm not really all that good at it so i reallize that this may not be universally liked but i thought that windowers were by definiton third party apps and that third party apps were forbidden in game. that said i dont care what ppl do as long as it doesn't impinge on my/or others enjoyment of the game it just strikes me odd that you would post that you use them (third party apps) in an open forum. just curious

1. There's nothing SE can do. I can join this forum with your account name and say "I'm Redsmoke, I use 3rd party apps, ban me!", and nothing is going to happen for obvious reasons.

2. There are TONS of windower posts on this forum. Sculli doesn't appear to have a problem with it, since all it does is allow you to run in a window, and have longer macros. There are some addons that do allow you to "cheat" in a way though. Tparty and distance I would say are allowing you to cheat in the game. I would say they're very moderate cheats though, since they allow you to do things that you can do in other MMO games--cheats nonetheless of course.

3. The number of people on this forum that use windower would probably surprise you. I'm not saying everyone uses it, or that that makes it OK. Just that there are a lot of users out there. As such, most people on the forums won't care if you admit to using it.

please dont misunderstand my post I'm in no way condeming ppl that use/have used third party apps. i understand that ppl do it and there is no way SE can tell who you are on this forum, obviously and thankfully this is seperate from SEs control. i was mearly curious to know if he wanted to chance an investigation. QCDN is used by tons of ppl some of which im sure are SE staff keeping their fingers on the pulse of the gamers wants/needs and problems. hey maybe I'm way off and i should shut the fuck up, no worries have fun hope your windower problem gets fixed, its only a game to me i never stress it no offense intended and i hope none taken

No worries. I was just answering your question regarding why people would post in an open forum about using windower. ^^

Windower won't gives you no advantage over other players unless you use the plugins. I do not. I make it a point to disable all the plugins each time I download the newest unbroken version of windower.

TP party plugin... meh, most people spam their TP anyway.
Distance plug in... eh, doesn't actually do anything but provide information.
Parser... Who gives a rats ass who is doing more damage.

now when it comes to things like warp hax, Job Change Hax, Botting... :nono:

All I use windower for is to listen to music, view webpages, and take screen shots of text. 3 things we should already be able to do that do not constitute as cheating in any way.
